Canelo does not know If Benavidez will be in the 3 fight deal?

    Difference between Floyd and Canelo was that Floyd always had a dance partner which was usually of Mexican or Latino descent, high profile black vs Latino fights usually draw in huge numbers because it brings in both fan bases. Since Canelo is in the higher weights there's only Europeans and it's hard to generate interest in America fighting Europeans with low profiles. Most Mexicans I know flat out didn't give Canelo any credit for his super middleweight run because they didn't knew he who was fighting.

    Yeah that's definitely true, I've heard people say he avoids black fighters, but I never really saw any guys I felt he just had to face.

    dude the Callum smith fight was signed before Benavidez lost his belt it was known that Canelo wanted to unify when he moved up. Benavidez got stripped and was supposed to fight yildrum the WBC tried to give him a easy fight and he couldn’t keep his title.

    What do you mean Charlos profile now? He has not fought for 16 months and never had a huge profile to begin with. His last fight was infront of 7000 people. Benavidez has a bigger profile than Charlo today, so your whole premise is wrong. The Benavidez fight is the bigger business fight, that's why its such a blatant duck. David is the clear best opponent at 168 so again I have no idea what you are talking about when you say he has not done enough to separate himself.

    Are you trolling? Benavidez was rings ranked number 1, year end 2020 until today. Callum was rated higher until Canelo cooked him but anyone with a brain knows Benavidez was the better fighter before that. Smith got cooked by Ryder already and his best win is a shot groves.

    Sure guy. There wasn’t a need for a Smith fight. Canelos been ducking Benavidez since he first got to 168. He went back down to 160 after Fielding.

    He's (Charlo) far more accomplished than 5 years ago for sure, he's unified an entire division himself. History wont ask how many tickets he sold his last fight, it will say undisputed champ vs undisputed champ. Thats the whole rationale behind it. Id rather see Benavides myself but lets be real for a minute. Benavides in comparison has done zilch, with plenty of time, hell he's even managed to take steps backwards twice as a champ due to discipline and perhaps belonging a division higher. Benavides just needs to show he belongs in the ring with a guy of that caliber. I suspect he does but he's yet to prove it imo.

    Right. Because I’m the one ducking the guy all my fans say I can easily beat. I’m the one dragging up a 154 pounder to make a title defense at 168. I’m the one who is looking to fight the 154 pounders 160 pound brother at 168. Yea, I’m embarrassing myself.
