As much as I hate to say it, I think Canelo is going to beat GGG, even with fair scoring. I truly hope Golovkin proves me wrong.

I have been complaining about canelo not having the right mindset for boxing since 2 or 3 fights ago. Canelo doesnt look like focused lately. He enters the ring and he's not thinking about the fight, he's thinking about idtiot stuff in the ring entrance. And we all know what it means when a fighter has his mind elsewhere, not in boxing.

There is only one thing that should be in your mind when you enter the ring, THE FIGHT. Period. Nothing else. Even when camacho did his clown stuff (which I adore) in the ring entrance you could see that he was completely focused in the fight regardless of the show. That's not canelo's case lately.

He better is carefull, because losing to an old gg could harm his legacy BIG.

I cant imagine mayweather having free time and going to play golf instead of going to the boxing gym.
Talent is not enough, guys. NEVER. Talent is NEVER enough. Dont let *******s lie to you, HARD WORK is the real asset, the only asset.

    GGG is
-40 yrs old - past his prime
-fighting in a higher weight class for the first time - 168 lns
-and the scorecards have been prefilled

I'd say Canelo is more than ready for the 3rd fight!

Nobody is ready without training. No exceptions.

I agree but the fight is what three months away?
If the fight was in two weeks time then I could understand the concern.
Although it could be GGG's last chance we have to remember that Canelo is coming off a loss so I think both men will both be in the best shape they can possibly be come fight night. It's critical for both of them.

I understand the fight is in 3 months. But I've had this feeling since a while. I watch him going into the ring and I dont like what I see, I see a total lack of focus and commitment. Independently of him playing golf yesterday or going to dance with his wife last weekend. It is a general feeling that I have since 3 fights or so, I couldnt tell exactly since when. :nusenuse:

Since Caleb and Saunders for sure, maybe since before that? I dont know.

It's hard to do roadwork at 4 a.m. when you have tons of money. Something like that said hagler.

Well, I found this tweet, it is self explanatory

The Canelo fixes on a consistent basis might be the worst in history. Its ruining boxing. Also, there is nothing debatable about the Jacob's fight, although it was a tough, close fight, the Derevyanchenko fight was very close, both did great work.

I do agree with you. It's something that's difficult for most people to comprehend. The guy has been the biggest name in the sport and will have people around him constantly blowing smoke up his arse. So it's difficult for anyone in that situation because you've already made it and maintaining that hunger and discipline is incredibly difficult. I think the recent loss might refocus him a little as even the best need a reminder and a reality check to keep them grounded.

Some how, Floyd was on dancing with the stars while training for Hatton, who by the way gave Floyd all kinds of trouble and made him dig deep.
