It would be Glorious, but I suspect Canelo will be very serious, maybe even dark, a toned down ring walk. Canelo never really wanted this fight because he knows how tough the fights with GGG are. He has put it off as long as he could, but now it's time. Canelo won't underestimate even an old GGG because he knows what it's like being in there with him.
One loss to Bivol and it's not his life anymore? Maybe it will not be his life anymore when there is nowhere left to go but thru Bivol and Benavides. I could see the Canelo vs GGG 3 fight being the last fight for both actually, primarily because after this fight all roads lead to Bivol and Benavides.
If he continues to follow the Floyd blueprint like he has been, Clenelo will retire for a time saying he doesn’t need boxing and that he’s accomplished everything possible. Fans will very quickly forget him while Charlo and Benavides will engage in a FOTY and a rematch while Smith, Beterbiev and Bivol will thrill fans in a round robin. All 5 of the above mentioned fighters will take something out of one another but boxing will be rejuvenated. Once those five have all battled it out and aged, Clenelo will announce that he’s returning to save boxing. He’ll show up looking absolutely ripped at the press conference for he and Bud Crawford at a catchweight of 180.
Just reading through the thread I'm feeling some real pain in some of these posts, is everything OK? Anything you want to talk about? Jeez. If I didn't know a thing about him your posts would leave me to believe Canelo is in fact, the anti-christ. Let the man live a little, he's earned it.
I get what you’re saying but I think Hagler had the wrong approach and Canelo is correct. For longevity you need to love what you do. It’s not a chore, it has to be something that you want to do for it’s own sake. If you’re only boxing to survive then that’s out of necessity. If you love boxing you choose to do it, you play around with it, you learn and you create new parts of your game. It’s a sport in reality, while a serious character like Hagler viewed it as a war to get himself motivated. Doing it in the Hagler way burns you out quickly. Canelo should skip the tedious roadwork, he’s not a runner and he would be better off as an athlete getting the extra sleep.
Man where can I get my hands on this miracle drug, how is there not a street market for Clenbuterol if that **** turns you into Canelo?
From what I read up on it at the time, it was known to help with lean muscle mass, help you make weight easier and help greatly with cardio. I heard some say it could help mask real steroid use.
Jesus, the guy's playing golf and he doesn't fight until September. Clenelo's always been hyper focused and discipline. Clenelo will be ready and in top shape like he ALWAYS is.
