i think trout beat cotto better then canelo beat trout. both fights were close, trout fight was closer despite the knockdown i think. but trout was not going to win that fight if it was close or if he won 8rds to 4rds. he would have had to drop stop canelo and i knew that was not going to happen. cotto vs canelo would be a great fight but id favor canelo buy close decision.

 

I think fighters that are natural 154ers terrify Canelo.
HBO diet of has beens, never was'es and general washed up small guys.
He has one win of note and it wasn't exactly a statement win.

Let Cotto have his shine, he demolished a solid fighter.

Cotto would probably lose to Alvarez, but picking a shopworn, undersized opponent is par for Alvarez's management.
