Performances like tonight's get the masses excited about you once again! If GGG struggles at all next week, Canelo would have gained momentum in the court of public opinion regarding this match up.
Canelo is a world class boxer and will pose a serious threat to both Cotto and GGG. I will root for Canelo to beat Cotto as he is the more likely to want to fight Golovkin. Can't wait to see how all this plays out.
How do you expect anyone to understand what you are trying to articulate when you have no regard for commas or periods?
Fighting @ 155 catchweight don't count in my book. My point i don't see canelo himself ducking GGG, I don't think his people would want him to take that fight. GGG stops canelo in my book, that's why I feel GGG needs to step up and fight the bigger guys to get name fighters. The name middleweights don't want none of GGG, guys like cotto, Quillen will avoid GGG.
Canelo has grown on me and he does some things very well. That said, a prime unmotivated Jose Luis Lopez would've paddled his ass. :deal
My whole point, before mayweather vs Pacquiao, mayweather was somehow ducking GGG. When they asked GGG about ward he would say ward was to big. It's a double standard in boxing that's illogical, at least canleo and GGG might be the same weight on fight night.
:good:yep :good:yep And the Newwww...Catchweight King of the World....Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. WBC 155 WBA 155 WBO 155 IBF 155 The Ring 155 IBO 155
And some are mad. Good win for Canelo... showed will and skill... You can see he learns from every fight. He was calm as ever, accurate, explosive, uses angles, cuts the ring well, has a great chin too... His stamina is a concern, and his height and reach too may prove to be a challenge, but thus far at his young age of 23 he is coming along very well. I hope he succeeds, he would make a great face of boxing with his style of fighting, his charm, and his willingness to fight the anyone mentality.
