He looked how he did against Jacobs and Brook because they were the best opponents he’d fought to date, not because he’d lost a step. Claiming he ducked a prime version is pretty ridiculous, no evidence GGG had slowed down and if he had any difference was negligible. As the smaller guy Canelo was in his rights to not jump into the fight straight away.

GGG ducking Ward is the dumbest fcking thing ive heard. Ward was inactive for about two years and was going back and forth about coming back to 168 a division that GGG was not in and Ward wanted him to move up for the fight. GGG didn't want to move up because he had the big money fight with Canelo on the horizon and would be putting that in jeopardy by moving up. So basically GGGs choice was move up to 168 for a small money high risk fight at a size disadvantage against one of the best in the sport and pretty much putting killing any chance at a big money fight vs Canelo or hold tight and get the big money pay off.

FFS let it go, two fights happened and Canelo got the decision in them both.

I didn't agree with the decisions but I accept them and have moved on, to start saying "It wasn't a prime GG" is just salty.
