charges have been dropped so they cant use that excuse.

canelos stepping up on may 4. theres just too much hate going around all the forums and everyone, including suliaman, is sick of gbp and canelo making a mockery of the wbc belt and boxing in general(ffs, ufc 158 is having gsp/diaz, condit/rory and hendrick/ellengberger on the same ****ing card).

there is no way the wbc is going to sanction canelo/maidana or canelo/angulo.

theyll strip him and thats why its not going to happen.

So, nothing has been officially announced yet in terms of him not fighting Trout, but you decide to make a thread saying hes ducking him anyway and **** him

I always wondered if it's possible for boxers to force a fight. To just let the promoters know, "I want this ****ing fight and that's it"! Or is there a clause in the contracts that prevents these things from happening? Like the promoters saying "I understand you want the fight but you aren't fighting him until we think you're ready". The reason I ask, is because obviously fighters call out boxers all the time but they don't always get those fights. And it's also a bit strange that they don't let fighter fight, especially when it's a winnable fight. Trout is a good boxer but c'mon! Canelo can beat this dude. Let's get real here. If Canelo is overrated like people claim, Trout is in the same boat. Or does he get more props for beating a SHOT AS **** Cotto, way past his prime?

It is a two way street but the boxer would generally rely on the promoter to maximize his earnings. A lot more fights get discussed behind the scenes than we ever hear about would be my guess. On the other hand Pavlik blew up because he claimed no one was telling him anything about the Cunningham/Bute package until the last minute.

Issues with management doesn't mean one fighters ducking another blah blah blah!

Nowadays fights can be a nightmare to make because of TV, promotional companies, belt organisations e.g fighters going down different routes with perhaps the WBC whilst another following the IBF.

Me personally, I think Canelo would take the fight with Trout and vice versa... GBP however, I don't think they want the fight.

Canelo has major balls, he went and fought Floyd @ 22 years of age. It's unthinkable.

Nothing bad to say about him, takes all the tough fights.
