This is why Golovkin doesn't get the resume all his haters want to see because everyone is ducking him for easy fights.

Canelo has no shame, fighting a LWW/WW at not 154, but 155

I lost all the respect I had for him before today

    Khan's prime was at 140

He has never looked as good at 147

at 155? against a guy exceeding 170 pounds?

    lmao. rip.

    Extremely ironic post.

People have been saying this for months now, before Bummyluvkin fought the career JMW journeyman Gabriel Rosado for his MW strap.

The MW division is a wasteland, everyone else has better options, nobody is going to risk fighting him when they can make more money. If nobody wants to fight you then MOVE UP.

Nobody 130 and below wanted to fight Mayweather so he moved up and made his own name.

Nobody at 160 wanted to fight Abraham, so he MOVED UP and sought greatness.

Mosley at 135 had no opponents that wanted to step up. So what did he do? He moved up 2 weight classes to fight a PRIME DLH and arguably won the 1st fight.

Zoo at 140 had very little options after unifying with Judah. He could of moved up to 147 where the best fighters in the world resided, but he was comfortable at 140 and never got to show his full potential.

GGG is nearing 34 right now. All the fighters at MW have time on their side, GiGi doesn't. He has maybe 1 or 2 years left of his prime, and that's EXACTLY what Canelo is waiting for.

Trying to milk Canelo fight should generate alot of money

GGG should really consider switching management and or promoters you would think if he was with say Top Rank he would have been got the fight and money he wanted

How is mw a wasteland? The biggest fight for GGG and one of the biggest in boxing right now is at mw.
If nobody is going to risk fighting him, in your words then why do you sh!t on GGG and not them?
And weather you like it or not the fighters you listed moved up for $$$ just like GGG is staying at mw $$$

I used to think he is a young hungry kid who fights everyone, but after his latest schemes he's disappointed a lot of fans including me

Na, Canelo has already fought a who's who of 154 and we know the likes of Cotto and Lara would beat the majority of 160lbers. It's ok to get an easy fight, Mayweather did the same thing with Marquez, only difference is Khan is still in his prime and taller than Canelo, so this fight might not be the cakewalk many are expecting. Khan deserves alot of respect for this move, win or lose. Khan has that tall frame where he might do better at higher weights, as long as he protects that glass, tho. Shouldn't be hating on Canelo saying he's ducking Ggg when he's already fought the likes of Lara and Mayweather. He'll face Ggg soon.

There's no need for "arguably". Mosley clearly won the first fight, in just his 3rd fight at 147, and Oscar having fought 11 times at 147.

Mosley suited the weight well, actually outweighing Oscar on fight night which was a surprise. Oscar didn't allow himself to be weighed on fight night for another 8 years after that.

    I'm already past that point.

Just fight GGG at 160 afterwards and all will be well with Canelo in the public's eye.

Fans have short memories, and it's not as Canelo has a habit of this sort of ****.

He got deserved credit for the opposition he faced before, he's getting deserved criticism for his mismatch...then hopefully he'll go back to taking on better opposition.
