barring injury, canelo stands to retire as the top earning athlete of all time. if what he said is true, which i doubt he would share in an interview if it werent.
the lengths oscar has fallen since his days as the golden boy are tragic. hes just intent on making less and less of himself.

When Canelo was with Oscar he loved exposing him, over and over.

Their favourite games were "hide the spoon" and "what does it taste like?"

So sad to see lovers quarrel like this :aplastao:

Michael Schumacher, Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods are light years ahead of what Canelo will make.

numbers please. cause he stands to make half a billion, which is slightly more than his original contract, + whatever he negotiates for fights like beterbiev, ward, etc... under a contract he can complete in a couple years. says he wants to fight 7 more years, but lets say 5. the investments hes made so far, make him about 8 million a month, and hes just starting the lucrative part of a top fighters career. in 2 years, endorsement deals are gonna be falling out his ass. but honestly, i dont know the others numbers, so maybe they are out of reach. what are we looking at?

You think? He didn't come close to actually making the $350M in his previous contract, because he wasn't willing to fight the opposition DAZN wanted him to. Why do you think he will make the maximum amount now + a lot extra?

he said hes making more now, than under the original contract, plus hes free to renegotiate special fights. i would say under those circumstances, and his ability to draw(40k tickets in 2 days presale), half a billion is a conservative estimate. fighting 3 times a year, like he does, that contract will be quickly cashed, then the sky is the limit. and like i said, the man makes 8 million a month from investments outside of boxing, right now. that adds up over 5 years.

Guys like pac had to learn this the hard way buy staying loyal to a snake like arum. I said years ago oscar was asleep at the wheel doing coke and drinking and Shaffer stole his company from him and went to pbc. That's the main reason why oscar is still bitter with pbf today because he thinks he was a major force behind it to. Lastly after oscar's behavior on that triller ppv card a few weeks ago where he was obviously drunk and high on air I have no idea why any fighter would want to sign with golden boy at this point. Oscar needs and intervention or it's going to end badly for him. Canelo did the right thing by getting away from him.

Michael Jordan will always be the highest his shoes are like gold and are the most popular year after year after year. Canelo won't catch him.
