our inner demons and addictions are real.
most of us grapple with these at some stage, and a lot of people die because they don't deal with them adequately.
if a person isn't ready to make it their life mission to conquer them, you can't make them do it.

it's ironic that we spend so many years preparing children 'to be ready' for the working world, and yet there are many things that are sold over the counter that sabotage their lives, right down to the crap that is sold at supermarkets and half of which shouldn't even be there.

oscar's rich, successful, good looking...but these things mean exactly nothing.
if you don't love who you are, your life can't be in balance. but most people don't, do they?
    mind and body.

Michael Schumacher was close to $1,000,000,000 in earnings in 2004 alone.

His annual Ferrari salary was $50,000,000 and he had many personal sponsors and his own merchandise line.

    He retired in 2012.....

Tiger Woods we all know his Nike deal

And Michael Jordan has his sneaker line which he still gets royalties for.

Every other element of Nike's product line – including running, other basketball, soccer, training, sportswear, and more – saw a decrease in revenue over the past 12 months. Yet Jordan Brand saw a double-digit increase.

What's more, if Jordan Brand is grossing $3.6 billion for Nike, it's likely generating at least double that when shoes are sold through other retailers. That's at least $7 billion in wholesale revenue. It's safe to say the company is doing well for itself. But what about Jordan individually?

Thanks to his agreement with Nike, Jordan earns a five percent royalty on all of Nike's gross sales. A little quick math shows Jordan has made $180 million in royalties over the past 12 months.

Last year, Jordan made $157 million. Perhaps it's only fitting that he made $23 million more this year, to perfectly match his jersey number.

Canelo has been interviewed a lot lately; speaks English very well. He has talked a lot about how rotten a promoter DLH is.

I've watched those interviews and it's HILARIOUS how Clenelo says money doesn't matter to him and then he goes on to immediately say how important the money is.

He also says he dedicates everything to Mexico, but then says Mexico is dangerous and he doesn't spend much time there.

This is what we're dealing with here, folks.

Jordan’s net worth allegedly decreased by about $500M over the past 6 months, probably from investments in a hedge fund that had big losses due to having to cover their short position in GameStop.

Doesn't mean he doesn't make a ton of money from Nike that was my point. Alot of people lost money due to that run on gamestop. He still owns a nba team to.

True, however, the majority of that is from endorsements. Plus he had the luxury of competing into his 40s.
    It´s a bit different.

Kinda like saying that George Foreman is one of the wealthiest boxers of all time. He actually made most of his money from the damn grill.
It´s a bit of a pointless comparison really. And the opposite would be true as well: "Canelo has actually been paid more than Woods. Yeah, but Woods still gets paid more in endorsements".

Canelo comes off as self-centered ass, but that's also what boxer's need to do in a tank full of sharks. If Canelo didn't stand up for himself GBP and DAZN would be screwing him over. I think regardless of what he makes compared to any other athlete, he knows his value and I applaud him for sticking up for himself.

I don't agree with all their decisions, but I admire Michael Jordan, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Oscar De la Hoya, and Canelo for taking the risks and having the tenacity for striking out on their own.

Yeah he’s still a billionaire and probably will make up that $500M within a year or two. I just find this GameStop story interesting.

I seriously don’t care what they make as I’m not in that pocket.
I just want good fights and yet for every GOOD fight we get from Canelo you have to swallow a load, like ODLH, of BS opposition
