they do, look at Maidana... Maidana virtually fought without any regards for defense and how hurt was he? He looked he came from the spa...

Canelo i can't explain. He should've been a lot more active but i think Floyd was too elusive and Canelo probably felt he was looking dumb, throwing wildly.

This brings to a very important point about how judges score fights. How many rounds has Floyd won by doing absolutely nothing with his fists? maybe 2 or 3 punches that barely hit the target with no power? Judges have to penalize Floyd for this and not let his defensive prowess and ability to make opponents look like clowns influence them.

If i were a judge, this is how i would score Floyd's rounds:

1. Did he connect any good punches? If answer is yes and opponent didn't, round for Floyd
2. Did he connect a couple of girly punches and run around the ring making the chasing opponent look clumsy? like a clown? ROUND FOR OPPONENT, not Floyd.

Floyd SHOULD NEVER win rounds by making opponents looks clumsy by simply running and dancing, he HAS TO USE HIS FISTS. I would score all ROUNDS for opponent unless Floyd does damage. Why? cause it's the opponent pressing the action, it's the opponent wanting to fight... and this is a FIGHT, not a circus. We are not here to watch Floyd run and make them look slow, as if they were freaks or clowns for our entertainment. Unless Floyd does damage, he is LOSING the rounds.

Floyd gets away with winning rounds by doing absolutely nothing... this has to stop.

This is a terrible example and a completely baseless hypothesis.

You may not like Floyd being a "defensive-first" fighter, but he doesn't win rounds by only landing three punches. You should really lay off the hyperbole there. He might not throw 100 punches per round, but he doesn't need to since he consistently lands around 45-50% of his total punches. He might not be landing 50 punches per round on his opponent, but he's definitely not winning rounds by landing just a handful of punches. Come on now.

Mayweather hurt Maidana in ROUND ONE of their first fight with a left hook toward the end of the round. I'm not even going to bother with other examples. This was just to illustrate I didn't even need to look 3 minutes into the fight.

I can see Pacquiao using his quickness to never lose, just use his superior footwork and speed to land a few girly punches, avoid getting hit and win every time, easily. Pacquiao comes to fight though, call him stupid and floyd smart but i really think judges need to put more pressure on Floyd to use his fists... bedazzling the crowd by being elusive whilst barely throwing punches ought to be penalized.
