lots of trolls and angry Floyd fans getting their panties in a bunch. This is just a forum,, relax.

None of my posts showed anger or hatred, they are simply illustrating how a style like Flody's wows judges by simply making opponents look clumsy, not by actually connecting any solid punches. If you are a Floyd fan and don't want to admit it, then you are not being honest.

I just don't think that a boxer should win so many rounds by mostly making opponents look slow. Landing soft punches to outscore and being elusive should not be rewarded this much.

You just basically showed a near absolute zero level of boxing comprehension with your posts here. Why shouldn't masterful defense be rewarded? If it was something so easy I'd figure there would be plenty of guys fighting just like floyd since it's so simple.......

defense should be rewarded much less than offense. #1 it's easier #2 less risky #3 boring

i have no doubt in my mind that Pacquiao could've humiliated JMM on all 4 fights by being elusive and just looking to score points, not hurt him. Pacquiao is much faster than JMM, with hands and feet so he could've danced around the ring, barely throwing, avoiding getting hit and looking to merely land soft punches to score points. There is nothing JMM could've done if Pac would've chosen to fight in this manner because with superior speed and footwork, defense is easy. A slower opponent cannot catch a faster fighter who is constantly moving and neither can he avoid getting outscored by faster, cautious hands. How did Pac get hit so much and get KO'd by JMM? by simply being too offensive. Pac showed a bit of Floyd in his comeback vs Rios where he danced around the ring, being elusive, more cautious and not looking for a KO... he won all 12 rounds. Pac fought this way cause he was coming off a KO loss and was very cautious... nobody can beat Pac fighting like this... it's when he gets too offensive minded, when he is at his most vulnerable, yet dangerous.

I guess Pacquiao is dumb and Floyd smart, Floyd knows how to win fights without making it a real fight.

Or that JMM nullifies Pacs speed with his amazing timing. In all of the PAC-JMM fights PAC fought to the best of his ability period. While being an offensive monster Pac isn't a great defensive fighter like Mayweather is. In the fourth fight with JMM he was utilizing fast feints but was timed and caught by a beautiful punch that Marquez had been working on for awhile. Defense isn't easy and neither is offense. Rios is a come foward fighter with zero defense he is there to be hit all night long. While Marquez is a counter puncher who sets traps all night long. 2 different fighters completely and both are on different levels.

Could be a very boring fight. I don't expect it to be better than Donaire vs Rigondeaux.
