I am a huge Floyd hater, but I think people just want Canelo to win, and beat Floyd that is why this fight in selling.

But even if he beats Floyd, I think at this stage it is meaningless in terms of legacy in Sport

-Floyd is past his prime, yes he is a beast and still whips ass, but that is just a testament to the disproportionate skill level he has, that makes the bouts seem one sided and boring.

-Canelo is much bigger than Floyd, Floyd is a 140-147 fighter, a prime Floyd would not even be at 147. In my opinion , I believe Floyd fights at 147 so he does not need to cut weight. If he did like most boxers (if not all) he would still be fighting at 140 like Zab.

I would have liked to have seen Pac beat him 3-4 years ago but the window for that bout came and went.

Canelo is young enough to be his son and bigger than him. Win or Lose, Floyd won't lose.............Especially if he plans to return to 147 and challenge 140 fighters moving up in weight, while Canelo moves up to 160

I want to see Floyd get his ass kicked but not like this..

    LOL the excuses begin

They both agreed to a weight, if you make the weight then don't start bringing weight into it.

The Garcia fight fight is out-shinning it.

Seems to be more interest in that fight than the main event.

If i had to chose to watch only one, i dont know which fight i would pick.

Floyd knows he can beat Canelo, he would not have taken the fight otherwise.

For boxing fans yes, for casual fans, it will be the Floyd Show. I am still betting that the powers that be will rob Floyd like they did Whitaker-Chavez.

Canelo is great and awesome I just think Floyd is too damn technical....Had I not seen what I did in the Guerrero fight, I would think Canelo had a chance.

But bringing his dad back into training and having him in his corner makes him more mobile, very mobile..I think Canelo will have difficulty landing. Floyd will be ducking, dodging, bobbing and weaving all night. I believe the under cards will steal the show.

Keep reaching,Floyd can fight Vitali and win and people like you would still say that..

sidenote for the idiots "Yes Vitali is a heavyweight and they would never fight" just using an anaolgy

Not making excuses, I would just feel this bout would mean more if it was prime Floyd vs. Prime opponent

I hate this logic and the Floyd "fans" that agree with this.

If this is fact then why watch Floyd fight? Why?.......Why?......I'll ask again......Why?

I agree that if floyd gets beat it won't matter much. If and I think when he wins with ease, that does matter. 13 year age gap,20lb,undefeated. It will give floyd's legacy a boost. Not huge but something for sure.
