You know what else turned pink, Bivol's bicep. He couldn't even lift his belt with that arm lol.

Why would I be bothered what people say to you. It makes no difference to me. Everyone agrees it was a clear Bivol victory, there isn't really any debate worth having.

Yeah so why does anyone have a problem with the scoring? Who cares, like you said. The judges did a great job, they deserve a round of applause for scoring it accurately. The right man won, no need to claim it was a schooling or a domination when it wasn't. That's just overkill.

Again, stop trying to force a debate where there isn't one.

    Bivol won clearly.

I had it 8/4 Bivol. One of my cards was 7/5 as well.

The punch stats were pretty accurate, hitting arms doesn't score points. The spectrum was 1-4 rounds to Canelo, with 2-3 the most likely and 1 and 4 giving the benefit of the doubt to only one guy. It's the same thing as always, boxing is simply not a fairly regulated sport. There's always an angle to be played and these scorecards were just an investment into a possible rematch. Also Bivol is closer to being at his best at 168 than 175, doesn't mean the fights play out that way but he's in no way a big 175 pounder.

7-5? Not even close. That fight was not 1 round from being a draw. 9-3 at best. I had it 10-2. Bivol out classed, out performed and out smarted Canelo from the opening round. As good as Canelo is, he is still the same fighter that Mayweather outclassed.

It was an up and down performance by Canelo. I can see why people think it was wider than 7-5 but I still think generally most fans have a tendency to score too many rounds against Canelo and don't give him enough credit. But this is nothing new. I think last night was a case where Bivol was clearly the winner but at the same time Canelo still kept most rounds close. That's fine if you disagree and think it was wider, but I don't think the judges were out of line scoring it 115-113. I get that you don't think it was one round from being a draw, it didn't seem that close either, I fully expect Bivol to win but if you score the first 4 rounds for Canelo which is arguable then Bivol would need to win at least 7 out of the last 8 rounds to win which is exactly what happened.

We seen this kind of thing in the past, people score a lot of early rounds against Canelo and don't think it's reasonable to score close rounds for Canelo by landing the cleaner punches and showing good defense. That's pretty much what happened here whether you agree with it or not. But what was clear was that over the last 8 rounds, aside from round 9, Bivol was doing his thing and took control of the fight after a much closer and competitive opening 4-5 rounds. Even many of the shots that Bivol landed Canelo was rolling with some of them taking the sting off them. So they landed but nothing Bivol ever landed really rocked Canelo that hard or made sweat fly off him, so that it makes hard for the judges when neither guy was landing many clean shots as was the case in the early rounds.

no ****ing way!!!? Bivols arm is aching? It's a shame the judges never caught wind of this!!! They could have scored all 12 rounds for Canelo on account of the pain he inflicted on his opponents arm.

We have all just witnessed a huge injustice!!!

How significant are the body shots to you? Body shots landed : Canelo 43, Bivol 15. Power body shots Canelo 42, Bivol 7. That's a significant advantage for Canelo. Body shots matter. While Bivol did outland him significantly in overall punches, only a small percentage of those shots landed clean. So when one guy lands far more body shots and the other guy lands far more head shots, while throwing nearly twice as many punches, with both having low connect %s, with neither guy ever being rocked or hurt, it should be no surprise that it was as close on the cards as it was.

The fight wasn't close. I am not a Canelo hater. I have always maintained he is a damn good fighter. But the boy got beat soundly. Not doubt in my mind. Judged the fight through unbiased eyes.

It was a very one-sided beatdown.

Canelo 's shots were landing mostly on Bivol's gloves and sometimes on his arms. Bivol's shots were landing on Canelo's face and head. Canelo's shots were having little or no effect on Bivol. Bivol's shots drove Canelo back.

If they rematch at 175, there's good chance Canelo gets stopped.

A rematch at 168 for all the SMW belts would be interesting, and maybe even competitive.
