I think the only reason Canelo took this fight is because his only other options are beasts like Jacobs, Charlo or Derv who all had a great chance of beating him for much less money...
The same applies for this version of GGG...
Canelo can work on his stamina all he wants and it won't help. I'm sure he constantly works on his stamina but he gasses when pressured. He was gassing in the Kirkland fight for goodness sake!!!
Canelo might beat this version of GGG but if GGG's chin doesn't crack and he actually throws body shots this time, Canelo will be in deep ****...

Don't bother responding to any of my posts unless you're going to engage in honest dialogue.

Its GGG's only chance to beat Canelo. I feel now that Canelo has had more time to acclimatize to MW his stamina won't be as bad as it was in the first time. Also, hopefully Canelo doesn't bulk up much as it will also cause his body to require more oxygen.

With that said, if GGG decides to impose himself earlier he will be getting lit up by a fresh Canelo. In the first fight GGG was getting thoroughly outboxed and lit up by clean hard punches in the first three rounds when Canelo still had energy, if GGG attempts to open up HE WILL get beat to the punch and receive a lot of damage, more so than in the first fight.

I disagree, Canelo took this fight because he has NEVER shied away from a challenge and this is the MWs greatest challenge that if he wins it will catapult him to P4P#1 and make him a bigger mega star and further immortalize him.
GGG took this fight because its the biggest money fight out there, no other real reason why, maybe to try and set the record straight from the first fight.

As far as your stamina coomet, absolutely you can work on stamina and have it improve significantly. Miguel Cotto for example, the man used to tire after about 7-8 rounds in every fight until he made changes to his training and his stamina improved considerably.

Steroids or not, I don't see it. Canelo's biggest problem is his stamina, and that's what really hurts him. I think he has conditioning issues, and I blame that on his inept team.

If GGG could've knocked him out, he would've done it in the first fight. IMO, I think GGG is starting to slip.

Canelo's biggest problem is his stamina. He's a lot faster, has better combinations, and is superior defensively than GGG. The only reason GGG was able to make it competitive in the first fight was because Canelo was too muscular.

GGG will alays have a punchers chance, but the fact that he only landed two very good punches in their first fight further shows the unlikelihood of GGG KO Canelo.

Won’t happen, he has a beard regardless of the PEDS, also he’ll be on his bike aka scooter cause he can’t be on his bike for more than a smidge a round.

Just wanted to remind you of this post and let you know you were 100% correct...
I KNOW stamina can be improved but MOST boxers who struggle with stamina don't tend to improve and I was SURE Canelo would not improve his stamina for this rematch...
Even with all his money and having the best of everything at his disposal, he still had stamina issues in the past and had to coast in fights and I thought the same would happen in this fight...
He obviously made the adjustments in training you said he would!!!
I was 100% WRONG and I tip my hat to you. :applaudit:
