I hope that was sarcasm. This is reported by the Nevada State Athletic Commission as is required by law.

Yeah: Glazer said the PPV did 700K last week now he is saying 1 million while others are claiming double that so the gate quote was a dig at him.

What do you care anyway? You are some weird spaz who hates Golovkin!

According to Forbes both Canelo/Chavez Jr and Canelo/Golovkin surpassed that.

ESPN reported 17,318 tickets sold for Golovkin.
17,143 for Chavez Jr according to http://boxing.nv.gov.

Forbes has been a mess for years now.

My bad, the paid attendance was 17,635. Still the record at T-Mobile.

GGG might not pull big ppv numbers on his own nationwide. But there is no denying he is a Draw when it comes to live attendances.
People recognise great shows and drove in the numbers.

I vouch for that. The guys live fights are hype as far as the crowd goes. People come to see someone get KTFO on a Saturday night.

Ppv buys is what it's important. Example Mayweather vs Conor didn't do great in attendance crowd but their Ppv buy rates was a huge hit that Floyd got 300 million to Conor around 100 million.

You are right of course. To be a big ppv stars you have to draw the casual nationwide or have a strong ethnic fan base like canelo. And ppv numbers are the one that fatten the pocket.
GGG is on the way there but not quite yet.
Live attendance means that people might not buy the telecast but if you happened to be fighting in their town or in proximity, they will go and buy the ticket. It's more hardcore fan than casuals.
