    Sure financially he is better off but he's old now and wasted years of his career looking for money fights

    If Golovkin will throw more body punches like he used to he would have gotten a knockout.........................I am glad he is finally making the money he deserves, he fights for it, no doubt about it. I love to see him fight...................he should fight Saunders next, then Cotto, but El Pollo said he needs to have a tuneup fight before the rematch..................will he wait until Golovkin is 40? Can't wait that long......................Oscar wants the rematch in Texas with Lawrence Cole as El Pollo's referee, wants all judges to be Mexican Alvarez fans and Cole's father as the boxing commissioner................

    Yep, he could have been undisputed already and broken some records in the meantime instead of chasing Canelo/payday.
    Financially he probably did a lot better with the chosen route though.

    But to be fair Kovalev was carrying Ward who is known as a boring-ass fighter. Canelo / GGG are both action dudes with a long pedigree of exciting fights.

    So why couldn't he sell out MSG against Jacobs? Canelo done those numbers , not GGG. Mexican fans were everywhere on fight week.

    Oh dear Dino, GGG is a draw doesn't mean Canelo isn't. If it makes you happy, canelo is a bigger gate draw than GGG.
