Boxing is just corrupt when it comes to judges most of the time period ... but, since I doubt this fight goes the distance It shouldnt matter.. I think someone is getting KTFO

Also if Golovkin hits Canelo with a bodyshot, it's a automatic dq.

    Kiwi,

Consider this. Canelo is a HUGE PPV draw and star in his prime. GGG is great, but 35 and much of his career was spent off the biggest stage.

Boxing will protect their cash cow and the selection of the officials shows this. You can not underestimate how much more important Canelo is to people in boxing who want to make future money on him as the main attraction, or as his dance parter in a future match.

    Read below:

GGG can not afford to win rounds close or fight the way he wishes because trust me the close rounds if it goes the distance will be scored for Canelo in almost all cases, especially the later rounds. I would not put it past these judges to give Canelo one of GGG's best rounds, especially in the final three rounds to make the cards closer, giving the " cash cow " a better chance to win.

We saw that crap in Kovalev vs Ward 1 when all three judges gave Ward the 10th round, and it was clearly Kovalev, the result changed the outcome of the fight!!!

No disrespect to Canelo, he's a top fighter. It just the politics and power brokers around him as crooked. We have a mega fight here, and it's already been tainted by the officials selected. Why not remove them all NOW, and lottery draw 3 new judges who never officiated for Canelo or Glovkin, and have zero connections with either fighter's promoters?

Mendoza, I agree with most of that, and I already said that I disapprove of two of the judges (Moretti, who's biased, and Byrd, who isn't reliable). I have just two comments:

    1. I was only asking certain posters who repetitively complained about a future robbery to tone it down. We all know A-side bias is a problem, and Canelo is the biggest A-side in the world, however endless complaints stating a future robbery as if it was a dead certainty are a bit irritating.

    2. As long as Canelo doesn't get knocked out and wins the rematch, I don't think his drawing power will be affected significantly if he lost/drew a fair close decision in the first fight. I don't see the judging being any more biased than in the past (that's not the same as being fair, of course).

No, she had Spence up by 5. Too wide, just like her Benavidez and Magdeleno cards

people moaning about the judges. but then cant name any others to use instead.
just bag on the ones chosen because they score a fight 'correctly' against one of their fighters.

    come on man

    hahaha makes me laugh.

mad and i would suggest the easiest and most typical answer to give. something that didn't happen in the ring or the judges had nothing to do with or could influence.

    ROBBERY!

    1) What does that have to do with referees or judges?

    2) Paq checked that he did not have an injury on the box. He did not disclose it. That's the way that works. Who are you alleging "promised him" that he could be shot up with painkillers on the night of the fight?

    Let me be clear
I'm a fan of both and don't expect GGG to allow Big Red to see the final round but after that the cards will reveal this was set to favor the GB boxer
    GGG by late TKO

Freddie wanted to pull Pac out of the fight due to the shoulder injury. Imagine the lost $$$$$$$$ to Vegas if that happened. Freddie was assured Pac could receive a Toradol shot , which by the way is LEGAL ,if he went ahead so they knew about the injury. The not ticking the box saga was technical & pure corruption
It youre talking Pac was wrong not ticking the box Please tell me how Floyd didn't get a TUE
BEFORE receiving that ILLEGAL EXCESSIVE 750 saline drip in his own home ???? Worsw still was the NSAC allowed him to apply for the TUE
THREE WEEKS AFTER he was caught & GRANTED IT :duh:duh Then issued the statement "Mr Mayweather did nothing wrong we will not be investigating " ROFL
Explain that ? You cannot except by accepting in was pure CORRUPTION !!

Byrd has some terrible decisions in both boxing and MMA.
