[/QUOTE] You brought up Maayweather/Pacquaio, not me. And Canelo’s test results clearly suggest that he’s the one who was worried about what might happen in the rematch the most.
How do you figure? Canelo's results were well within the range for contaminated meat. Simply eating meat doesn't suggest you're worried about what might happen in the rematch now does it?
A past-prime Golovkin already beat him soundly. I was never interesting in a rematch and there's no point in one now.
His test were also within the range of someone using. It is a banned substance and my understanding of the NSAC rules are clear. He popped twice so it doesn't matter how it got I to his system at this point. My guess is he will be banned for a year with maybe 6 months subtracted for cooperation. That's it. At this point I am really not interested in the rematch either. GGG should just pick up a few more defenses including the unification with BJS and retire with his HOF ticket punched. Meanwhile, there was no promise Canelo would even want to fight GGG when he has served his ban. I'm still betting Canelo/Oscar will look for a light touch to sell as his "comeback fight"
canelo deserves to be punished, if u are caught with clen in your system u need to be banned, he also got a gift decision v golovkin, thats the problem with boxing, some fighters get these decisions and most dont, the fight was fairly close ish so the promoters and judges can get away with it without too much flak but it happens all the time and careers are affected
Im over the fight. A 35 year old G was the better fighter to me against a prime Canelo regardless of what some corrupt judge scored it. I dont need to see the rematch. Bring on the BJS fight and Im hoping for a Jacobs rematch. The overall consensus is that that was a much closer fight in the boxing worlds eyes.... would like for that to get a more conclusive ending to that rivalry. I think if DJ can get a big win in the meantime, maybe over a charlo or a Lemieux, they could sell a rematch pretty well.
It's a coincidence that he fights for a promoter where clenbuterol is a known issue. Good idea, if they want to test clean. After all the trouble you have gone to emphasizing the clenbuterol problem in Mexico, NOW it's a "wake-up call"? Oh, pleeeeaase Canelo's family are butchers. They know better than anybody what he shouldn't be eating. But the fact is that he's had some amazing physique changes that everybody was commenting on "Canelo is in beast mode" etc and he's had some remarkable endurance gains where before he'd be dying for air by the 5th. He fights with very long intervals - perfect for cycling - and for a promoter whose fighters have popped dirty before. Why not use clenbuterol? After all, if he pops dirty, he can blame "Mexican meat" and after all, Vargas got off so why shouldn't he? It's all too perfect. Clenelo is a dirty cheater, is what I think, and only he and his team and that dirty pervert of an Oscar know how long he's been drinking that apple juice. It's not at all a problem for Mexican athletes, because if that excuse sticks every time then they can juice clenbuterol all they want. It's a get out of jail free card. It's unfair on the rest of the world and it should be stopped now. No, it's not Mexico's responsibility. It's the fighter's responsibility. If there's a meat problem, then don't eat the meat. There are a thousand other ways of getting protein. It was the fighter's responsibility to avoid meat in the first place. Especially when its common knowledge that Mexico has a meat problem. Eat friggin chicken or fish or a nice bean stew.
The fight was close. A couple of swing rounds and it could have been a legit win for Canelo. I personally scored the fight for GGG but was more impressed with Canelo because I predicted GGG by stoppage and never expected Canelo, who was simply a ginger-novelty in the eyes of many here, to do as well as he did.
Want a body like a Greek god? Do you want muscles bulging out of muscles? Then you need look no further than tainted meat and Ripped Fuel
Most if this **** was already responded to by someone else but it says right there that Canelo was not tested for the Smith fight. And they did agree to VADA testing so how exactly did he not withdraw from testing.
