The first one was hyped that it's 100% that won't go to the distance, but none of them were even close to wobble the other one.

Now both of them promising to knock the other one out, but none of them will change a lot. When they asked Sanchez, what they would do differently in a rematch he said nothing, because they know they won the first fight.

Canelo could only progresse in one thing, to be more actice in the middle rounds, but then he would gas out for the end of the fight. But stamina is something like genetics, you can't really develop after you have reached your limits (e.g. McGregor he can train however he wants, he will always gas out at the end of the fight).

Golovkin could start better in the first rounds, but he won't go to the body more. Why he should take the risk if he can win that moments by jabs? If the judges robbing him again, then the scandal would be that huge that it's the shame for Canelo and De La Hoya.

Maybe I'm wrong, not easy to predict anything for this fight, but i would be really surprised if there would be a stoppage.

I think so to. Golovkin knows he wont win on the cards and canelo was prob very cautious of golovkins power. Now that they seemingly took eachothers best shots well for 12 rounds i think they will be more open to going to war with eachother

    NO, they didn't.

Only ONE judge gave Bumlovkin the fight and that was only by TWO rounds. Change one round on that judges scorecard and you got a DRAW.

Wgat I want to see ia a 100% on the level fight with no Oscar/Vegas/NSAC skullduggery Let the best man on the night rightfully get the win
Will that happen with Oscar/Vegas/NSAC ???? Sadly I do not hold out much hope pf that happening therefore I will not be buying the fight

Golovkin will have to knock El Pollo out to get a draw. Oscar will own all three judges, referee and boxing commission. I have a feeling that Tony Weeks will the the corrupt referee, so El Pollo can land testicle blows all night, that will be his biggest target.....................El Pollo knows that all he has to do is be standing at the end of the fight, the cards have already been filled out and everyone knows it..............

The 1st fight played out in a very simple way. Golovkin went on the attack, Canelo countered fantastically and kept Golovkin honest for a bit, but the floods of attacks kept coming and Canelo had to back off and counter less and go on the run more, conserve himself, not allow Golovkin to do enough work to break Canelo down and then the Mexican had a little spurt at the end to end the fight strongly. Not a great deal more either one of them could of done.

In the rematch Golovkin could really put the pressure on from the opening bell but Canelo will still be there to counter him just like in the 1st fight, in the rematch Canelo can do more work in the middle rounds but then he is going to get broken down and stopped.

The only things they can change is Golovkin ignores the power counters and just tries to walk through Canelo in the early rounds but he was put off doing that last time cuz they were heavy, fast and accurate. The only thing Canelo can do is take more PEDS and come in even more over 160 than they did at the last weigh in.

The Mexican only needs to survive 12 rounds to win the rematch.
The Khazak needs to stop his opponant to get a fair result.

On the flip side to that the judge who ruled it a draw gave canelo the 9th round which was one of golovkins most dominant rounds (even Byrd gave it GGG) so if that judge saw sense and gave golovkin the round he would of won by SD

The drawn card was every bit as bad and corrupt as Byrds card. Byrds card was so bad it was there to take the focus off the other one. I dont think either judge actually watched the action i think they just sat there working out the numbers and doing the math on the cards so they got the results they were paid to give.

Actually the judge who ruled it a draw gave Canelo the 7th, not the 9th.

sorry thats the one,, couldnt remember off the top of my head which it was,
all i remember was that the other 2 cards had it GGG while 'the draw' card gave it to canelo which made no sense as there was no way in hell canelo won this round was one of the more easier to score and was fairly blatant

The 7th was one of G's best rounds, as he landed several clean jabs in the round, however what made it harder to score was the fact that Canelo finished the round strong including a big uppercut towards the end of the round that "stopped Golovkin in his tracks" (Lampley quote) and after the round Abel Sanchez was scolding Golovkin for not finishing the round strongly and letting Canelo win the last part of the round.

So while I agree that it definitely was one of Golovkin's best rounds just based on how cleanly he was landing that jab, it still had the problem of him not finishing strong and Canelo winning the "last part of the round" (per Abel Sanchez).
