Canelo cannot knock out Golovkin or stop him coming forward.

He can try and box more but as soon as Golovkin pressures him, Canelo will move backwards as he knows he cannot hurt Golovkin.

Golovkin could lay a trap for Canelo; let him lead and nail him on the retreat. He has to do that early and quickly.

Nonsense. You can absolutely train stamina. That's why so many fighters love training in higher altitudes (e.g. Big Bear, Colorado, etc).

If you want to train for a marathon, you have to run, then run some more, then run even more. Given enough time, you'll improve each time you do it. If you've ever trained in boxing or any martial art, you'll see that the more you work out, the longer you can work out. Soon, doing a few rounds won't be nearly as big of a deal as it was the first few time you did it.

LOL, so GGG should try harder earlier... when Canelo has enough energy to rattle his noggin even more. Great plan... lol.

Canelo clearly has enough crack to keep GGG from just storming in and bumrushing. If he didn't, GGG would have just rushed him and put him down like he did to Brook.

Of course you can improve stamina, but there is a ceiling.

I still stick by what i've said for a while, Brook's approach is still the best way to beat GGG.

You have to stay in the pocket and get off first.

Brook is still the only guy we've actually seen back GGG up, so it should be possible for bigger guys to do the same.

I never came close to claiming that I did.....

I was merely pointing out that your theory "you'll improve each time you do it", is not true.

Canelo already had around 50 professional fight, don't tell me that he didn't try everything already to reach the best of his stamina? I'm not saying he has problems with that (during the Chavez fight he didn't even sit down), but he doesen't have enough oxygen to do a fight like this for 12 rounds what he did in round 1-3 and 10-12. And the pressure from Golovkin is something else.

You don't full acclimate to a new weight in just one fight. IMO, that added muscles was a completely new thing for him and played a big part in draining him.

    This.

I thought it was common knowledge that more muscles equals higher oxygen intake.

You clearly need to acclimate so that your body produces even more red blood cells which carry oxygen to your muscles.

Golovkin will start quicker and Canelo will run quicker. Bookmark my quote and bring it up day after the fight.

Canelo finished stronger than GGG, I don't think GGGs gas tank can afford to start any quicker against Canelo.

I agree with most of your point especially the last paragraph. I disagree that GGG was robbed in any way. It was a close fight tarnished by one bad score card. In the end, the fighter who deserved to win did. If anything, it was Canelo who was robbed of any credit for his performance by that awful judge's lopsided score for Cinnamon.

The vast majority of fans had Golovkin winning, even Mexicans, such as Nacho Beristain, Paulie had it 9 rounds to 3, Harold Lederman had it 8 rounds to 4, I had it 8 rounds to 4, but fine with 9 rounds to 3 like Paulie had it..............you heard the booing from the fans, even El Pollo fans..............................were booing..............

Yeah, start faster with the same tactics. Find it hard to understand why so many are confused why he didn't go the body against Canelo. Its blatantly obvious a terrible idea
