Canelo-Golovkin 2: There won't be a knockdown, even more tactical fight

    Not going to the body may have caused him the fight as Canelo finsihed the championship rounds stronger.

    On the flip side not going to the body probably helped GGG preserve his chin a bit more. There is only so much one can take before your chin dents. It doesn't matter how strong a chin.

    To be fair to them... they threw and connected with some bombs which would have KOed everyone else... GGG right hook in 5th rd, Canelo collosal right in the 9th which put Khan and Kirkland into a minor coma.

    He and Sanchez can read a fight better than us. The tactic was not to go to the body as Canelo will be coming away from an exchange doing the most damage and the most point scoring eye catching shots. Us fans have to accept they know what they are doing better than us. Canelo looked far stronger at 160, and not too many people would like counter combo's off of him, hence no body work from GGG. 3/4 yr ago, GGG would've been quick enough to mix them shots in, not anymore !
