Josesito Lopez (2 weight classes) and Khan (1 weight class) come to mind. I wouldn't say he's made a career out of it though. Most of his opponents are 154 fighters @ 155. That's hardly "dragging"...

I think you are more than a bit unfair to Golovkin, he was the one keen to fight good opposition for most of his career. All the top MWs avoided him for many years. Now that he is getting old he can get most of the fights he wants, but he wants the Canelo money more than anything.

I know a number of people on here hate to hear that, but it's the plain truth.

I assume from your name that you are a fan of Rigo, you should therefore know all about fighters being avoided / having incompetent promoters who don't get the big fights for their guy.

Chavez is another joke of a cherry pick. The promo has Chavez stopping Any Lee. A fight that happened in 2012. Tells you all you need to know.

Take your hater goggles off bro. You're reading this thread wrong.

This thread was made to criticize Canelo, by a known Canelo hater, who is defending and justifying JCC Jr. fighting much smaller men while bashing Canelo for doing the same.

But here you are somehow coming to the conclusion that people are here to bash JCCjr and defend Canelo... That's some backwards thinking bro.

Canelo is going to dust Chessburger Jr so badly that his own Father will slap him once he is dragged up from the brutal KO that will be delivered by Canelo on fight night.

Jr is known for preying on smaller guys just as much as Canelo. The biggest difference now is that Canelo no longer will have to drain himself as he will be right at home with this ridiculous agreed upon limit for the contractual weight.

Walking dead Jr gets KTFO prior to the 10th round.

Cotto's best days were 140/147. Canelo beating an older Cotto who was fighting near 154 or whatever it was isn't the most impressive feat. Decent, but I wouldn't call it career defining.

Don't get me started in Liam Smith. TRASH.

    Khan? LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Canelo: "I'm A-Side so I can be a huge joke and ***** but no one can talk bad about me."

JCC JR definitely won the mental round during the face off.

For the record, I'm not even a JCC JR fan. I also think Canelo is overrated garbage. That doesn't make me a hater. I calls it likes I sees it, clowns.

And Martinez fought his last 9 fights between 157ish-159ish, essentially full fledged 160. He was also the KING at 160, so the argument that he was dredged up from another weight class makes yall look stupid.

Canelo win the title at 155 and defended it once, as far as I know all information out there says Alvarez offered a non title fight to Golovkin at 155 for no belt, don't see how that's an issue or how ppl make more out of it.

As far as the Chavez fight a year after Khan and almost 2 years after Cotto he moved up. That's not all of a sudden 12mths is along time, and is the exact time they've been talking about since Lara. I can see that side of the argument the oh he had a belt, but when looking at the circumstances I can't hate to much personally.

Outside of Khan and Lopez in 2012 who has Alvarez fought that hadn't either won title's at 154 or competed there permanently?

Explain how Canelo would lose money by fighting GGG??? Oh I realise now silly me. If Pollo had fought GGG he would have got his ass kicked & his & Fishnets bubble would be burst. The farce would be over. He would rather be recognized as a COWARD than fight likn a MAN!!!!!! He's a COWARD
