Though I think Cotto a dangerous foe for young Canelo, you're right; a fight vs GGG even at 154 would show big nuts.

    Not sure about those two.

Cotto - Power, boxing ability/IQ, experience, probably chin
Canelo - Size, youth, probably speed.

    IMO.

Even if he was available he will never fight him, he had more than enough chances and never ever mention him...

Look at how they both fought Trout. Cotto's power did not bother Trout. Canelo's did. Canelo regularly knocks down his opponents at least once.

As for boxing ability/IQ, we'll just have to see. Trout arguably outboxed Cotto. But not Canelo. Canelo has faced all styles, but except for Mayweather, when has he ever been outboxed?

I prefer to look at all or most of their fights not just the one common opponent as everybody knows cross comparisons are flawed, and for me Cotto is a more powerful puncher, more experienced and a better boxer. Canelo's only real advantages are speed and the fact that Cotto may be too far past prime.

    I agree with you :good:good

Cotto better power, better IQ, way more stamina for sure, better footwork. Canelo has size and maybe hand speed...maybe. Cotto is a very dangerous fight, im just happy we have fighters like Canelo thats down to fight whoever. u go from the best boxer in the world to a very dangerous one that would be your 2 nd toughest fight in a row! let alone just fighting Trout too!

Nobody worried about Lara right now. He best be ready for Trout or hes back to the back of the bus
