Well Benaivides and Jermall the Lion Charlo are his toughest fights at 168 pounds possibly Andrade and CEJ because these lads have a bit extra than the other stiffs he has faced at 168 except for Plant who was not a stiff.

Andrade is overrated, he was almost chinned by a bum. And CEJ is mediocre. Once they step up to elite they're getting slaughtered and Andrade isn't a spring chicken either. Charlo and Benavidez would be is "toughest" fights. But Canelo would beat up and dominate Charlo. Perhaps Charlo puts up a fught but not based off of his latest performances. Benavidez is tough, but Canelo breaks him down.

I can't trust you on these topics mainly because you got banned for posting about Canelo avoiding african american fighters. You clearly have a racial preference for fighters, when Race shouldn't even be a factor.

I'm just not buying into the narrative that he improved by leaps and bounds since the Mayweather fight. He changed some things, but he always struggled against fighters with good feet and an educated jab. Personally, I have not seen great improvement. But I ain't no expert either. I see better head movement, better countering. Your very knowledgeable, what else has improved since the Mayweather fight? I'm not being a smart ass. What do you see that I am missing.

Agree with everything except Benavidez destroys Canelo. Canelo won't dominate 168lbs and he'd still struggle with GGG.

Head movement like rolling with shots, power, punch selection, fluidity, and he is more precise with counters. He is also much better at going to the body consistently. You can see his improvements at 160 and 168. At 175 he's to small too carry all that weight which slows him down, and he especially looks slow against a quick agile much larger man in Bivol. He is not some totally new fighter but he has improved a decent amount after a decade and him losing to Bivol, a guy who is elite and undefeated at 175 doesn't disprove that.

If they were the same size of course Mayweather would always beat Canelo, and u have made a thread calling people out that dont give Mayweather credit for the win, but Canelo has gotten better

Who has Benavidez beaten that warrents these accolades ? Im not even sure Benavidez would beat Caleb Plant. He is good but i am tired of people that think Canelo loses to several guys now. Benavidez relies of speed and size to overwelms and blitz opponents. He would not use his reach effectively to outbox Canelo at a distance and would get dragged into a dogfight, a dog fight that he would lose. Canelo would shell up when Benavidez opens up and pepper the body and arms right after, slowing Benavidez down and capitalizing on his limited fighting atyle

I for one knew Bivol would cause the upset but i am telling you now, Benavidez does not have what it takes.

Canelo was doing all that in the Trout fight. Canelo has been a top operator for a long time.

He did it better against Jacobs. Anyone can see the improvements. Him being a top operator for several years doesn't disprove that.

Of course he's improved, do you think he stagnated at 23 years old and 152lbs LOL.. all these Mayweather joy boys don't want to admit Canelo improved because they think it takes away from Mayweather's win over a greener version .. & they don't want anyone to have a comparable/better win because their hero is deified.. in the Floyd fight alone he probably learned more than in the five previous ones.. The Canelo of today would destroy that Canelo back then!

Like I said before, Canelo may have improved but not by leaps and bounds like Mayweather haters try to make out. The Bivol fight proves my point. Don't believe me, go back and watch how Canelo slipped, countered and jabbed in the Trout fight compared to the Bivol fight. Actually Canelo's last 3-4 fights it looks like he regressed. And yes, it is possible for Canelo to stagnate. Almost 70% of his fights were fought before the Mayweather fight. Canelo had 43 fights before Mayweather and 17 after. until Bivol, Lara was the only fighter with the movement and smart jab Canelo faced and he struggled against him as well. If there was improvement, it wasn't against guys with an educated jab and good movement.
