No I am reading the posts using braille. Tell me, how can I become as intelligent & knowledgable sounding as you, were you just born a winner or did you get there through hard work?

Canelo is the champion. As a MW that is exactly who Golovkin should be chasing, for no other reason than sporting integrity.

If your aren't gonna chase the championship why bother?

Why are you asking me how many wins he has at a full 160? I must assume you already know the answer yourself and if you don't it's quicker to check on boxrec then to ask someone on a forum.

Not just today he's the champion, he's been the champion since he beat Cotto.

I don't care what 50 other people say, no matter what combination of letters get typed onto this message board, Canelo was still the man who beat the man tracing back to Hopkins beating Tito in the final of the tournament way back when.

Canelo isn't the champion, Golovkin is. The only other guy with any claim to be middleweight champion is Saunders.

James you're a fan of watching Canelo box and on that score I do also but come on mate you must realise you're pulling against the tide here, forget what GGG fans say for a moment and listen to the commentators and boxing news articles who all bring up Canelo size against his respective opponents and I know you like to bring it up James but nobodies on about his height as that doesn't have a bearing(check out pick of A Kurtside next to Danny Jacobs lol but he's still a middleweight)just the way Canelo was cutting water weight to make 154 and that he piled it back on come fight night should tell you something James.
I'm sorry but I don't know how else to put it.

Zero wins at 160 but who's fault is that Shock,I'm past caring to be honest but if we gonna go by Canelos narrative after Cotto and then Khan he said he would fight GGG and then after the belt drop which I might add was a bit stinky on Canelo by the WBC in that they've a HW champ in Wilder who they let do as he please but anyway my point is Shock the evidence points to Canelo staying well clear of GGG to the point of looking totally miffed off with that awful weight cut at 154,it's his own fault he's not had any fights at 160 Shock and as if to give more credence to him avoiding 160 his next fight is at 164 although I think it's a good fight this and Canelo in my book gets big props for doing this and I can't think of anyone else taking on someone who's fought at light heavy.

Andrew you do know that 10lbs on a 5ft7 guy looks quite different to 10lbs on a 5ft9 guy?
Canelo ballooning up after weigh ins is the biggest myth in boxing today just as big as the Canelo is a legit 5ft9!!!!!

Canelo is short when you put 10-15lbs of size on him he looks like a tank but he still weighs less than a taller leaner bloke. GGG isn't even much leaner to be fair he's just so much taller he appears leaner.

The commentators and journalist commenting on his size are all trying to shove the GGG fight down our throats like its the fight of the century. FFS Canelo hasn't even had 1 damn fight against a legit 160lbs fighter.

Look Andrew everybody was trying to say Liam Smith who was much, much taller than Canelo was a weight division + smaller and then look at Smith in his next fight he fights at supermiddleweight and the fight after that he couldn't even shrink down to 155 let alone 154. How the hell is he smaller than Canelo????

Andrew why did HBO show GGG in the 24/7 series against both Lemieux and Jacobs at a diner staring at steak and chips? FFS its as if they are trying to make GGG look like a small bloke don't you think? I mean honestly that's the biggest crock of **** I have ever seen, you know for a fact that fat pos dirty Sanchez ate it as soon as the camera stopped rolling, its quite pathetic really. Floyd and Pacman who were legit small for their divisions never did such things!!!!!

    Yep I'll take it

I am not even trying to say Canelo is less than 164.5 but I am pretty sure he makes 160 easier than 154.
He would easily make 164.5 though and if he's weighing that high at the weigh in I think he might not be pushing himself hard enough, plus he gets more credit fighting JCC Jr below 160 for many reasons.

    1) It proves he's not a weight bully and in fact he can give up weight and win
    2) It makes a point that he is clearly a small middleweight and it probably isn't even his natural weight like he has been claiming which is good for his p4p credit
    3) If he is doing the hard yards and pushing himself he should come in fairly light as it gives him that extra speed advantage and even @ 160 his stamina might make an improvement (although he doesn't appear to have naturally good stamina)
