Canelo has not fought power punchers, could he be packing glass?

No he hasn't fought anyone who punched quite as hard as Angulo, but Angulo is coming off an injury, has never fought anyone as good as Canelo and has yet to beat a decent JMW. +650 is actually a little light in my opinion as he really should be a bigger dog. Only value here is the under, and that's stretching it.

 

This is how I felt too. I just think that with those odds, even though Angulo is slower, Canelo is a total hypejob and they will steal the cards from Angulo if there is any opportunity. I think Canelo will win, but I just have to go with Angulo based on odds presented. Good to know there is someone else thinking a like though! :good

 

Angulo should be the ultimate test then.

 

Alvarez is going to look good in this fight and all of you who say he has no chance will be citing Angulo as garbage in retreat...

 

There's a good chance Alvarez is seriously hurt or rocked in this one if he decides to exchange with Angulo.

 

Angulo dropped Lara twice and legit won rounds in his last fight... I think people are, I don't know, choosing to ignore or downplay the significance of that? Usually that would be highly praised, as Lara has become universally highly praised, if that fighter wasn't facing a guy like Alvarez next.

 

Who would you rank as a harder puncher among the "JMW top 10?"

I'm really considering putting money down on Angulo. Maybe 100 or 200. Thinking about it! lol

 

Alvarez's chin is one of the few things that allowed him to survive till now, exactly like with Chavez Junior.

Without their chins, they wouldn't be in the game.

And Alvarez is still almost a child, his chin will get stronger.

That being said, he can certainly be stopped by Angulo, no doubt.
