look at this lazy ****. 3-4 punches, then drop hands and bounce around. Do you think Marquez trains like this?

Damn. I'm a fan of his but it seems like he's surrounded by too many yes-men at too young of an age.

yeah I want him to succeed very much because I think he can be great for boxing, but he has to switch his team. At the very least, bring a new guy into camp with experience who knows what he's doing.

If Canelo fixes his stamina and footwork, I think he's set for s****om. Looking at the way he trains, you can very easily make improvements to his stamina by fixing that. Have a trainer who'll tell him to "keep working punk!" when he tried to stop on the mitts

His team sound like a bunch of amateurs. Thing is he does have a lot of natural talent and he could do great things in the sport if he was more dedicated and had the right people around him.

It won't do him any favours if he ever steps into the ring vs. The Special One.

I agree power is harder to improve than stamina, but both are a gift.

There are some guys who can train till the lights go out, but can't retain a high workrate the whole fight.

While some guys will punch hard all fight and still not gas.

So you can be a track star now? All it takes is hard work to run a 4 minute mile now?????

Nah. It doesn't work like that.

Life is going to get hard for Canelo

    He has awful stamina
He can BARELY JUST BARELY make 154.

GGG is holding 160 hostage for the next 2 years. What can Canelo do? he is screwed.

Anthony Dirrell has the face of a sloth and Wlad, B-Hop, and Ward have the grip strength of one.

Canelo needs to get a whole new team. Like someone else said he has a team full of yes men and that's not good for a fighter of his age.

I said all along for years his stamina sucks any decent boxer with a decent chin and speed is going to outbox him over 12

Completely agree. I told someone on Saturday that he needs to change his team while there's still time. He's come a long way with a less than stellar training regimen.

I really feel that Roger Mayweather/Ronnie Shields could get the best out of Canelo. That's a hell of a foundation to work with!
