He can stay at 154. But he's lost all respect from true boxing fans so let his punk ass stay there. We won't ever forget the bringing of GG into the ring and then the "duck" of his mandatory. I'm not ordering ANY of his ppv's until he fights GG, and if GG somehow loses before Canelo, then I won't ever watch Canelo again. He will be dead to me. ****en punk ass scumbag.

No, no, no... Canelo fought at a CW for a MW title but he has never fought a MW fighter at the MW 160 limit. Hahaha, says you, I'm not downplaying anything. You have a weird sense of liking fighters.

No kiding he hasn't. Doesn't change the fact he fought at MW for his last 5 opponents, and not JrMW since facing Floyd jr.
If he wasn't at 154, then the onus is on him to properly make 160. Not linger about at 155 for 3 years, claiming not to be a 160er when he's in their division and is the reigning world champion of the division.

Because he wants to fight at 155 and as he is a big draw and super star of the sport he can fight at a weight he choses.

155 is within the middleweight range but so is 154, so is 105 tbf you just have to weigh less than 160.

Weighing 155 don't make you a fully fledged middleweight though.

Why do many prospects fight a lbs or 2 above their weight division?

Alvarez was not a prospect James. And don't answer a question with a question. If you cannot answer something, just say so.

So he was contracted to fight in a middle weight fight above JMW limit correct.. no matter how you spin it can eloquent has been fighting over the limit which makes him a MW.. canyello is no prospect and has close to 50 professional fights completelu different.

Dosent matter the funny thing about weight is that is an absolute fact the weight of middleweight is 154.1 to 160 if you fight between that weight you are fighting at middleweight.
