Does Canelo became alcoholic to forgot his defeat? What a delusional dickhead.

Gets a few in him, next thing he's taking ice baths with dudes and scoring the Golovkin fight for himself.

I don't think people appreciate how close "winning by two rounds" is. There is no such thing, by all practical measures , as winning by one round. 7-5 is one round away from a draw. Anybody who thinks they won by two rounds should be open to the possibility of a draw or a close loss the other way.

When you get through talking, GGG was the aggressor for most of the fight. He was the one bringing the fight to Canelo and he will be bringing it in the rematch. Like I said, if Canelo feels that he needs to stop and fight more then he might find himself waking up from the canvass.

Golovkin went to the body and Canelo twisted so far around as to virtually turn his back on him. The referee warned GGG for hitting to the back and he stopped for fear of having points deducted. The ref should have warned Canelo for turning around too far.

"Sanchez explained why Golovkin was unable to get those body shots in.

"It's a little difficult when a guy doesn't want to be a little more stationary, for Gennady to go to the body like he's done in the past. He did hit him with a body shot in the fourth or fifth round, and [referee] Kenny Bayless warned him that he hit Canelo in the back. And the reason he hit him in the back is because Canelo is turning his body to avoid some of the shots and when he turned his back his got hit," Sanchez told Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports.

"It's not the kind of fight where you want to get a point taken away. I'm sure a lot of those thoughts have gone through his mind. I noticed that he didn't really go back to the body after that" - the scene

As if Canelo(or most fighters for that matter) would actually publicly admit if they thought they lost a fight. Completely pointless thread.

First off, rounds are scored individually using the 10pt must system.

You need to consider a few uncompromising things, such as defense (Canelo won that in just about every round), clean hard punching (again, Canelo landed the cleaner harder punches to the head and to the body more consistently throughout the fight), ring generalship ( this one is very subjective considering each fighters style, I would say its fair to say Canelo fought his fight between rds 1-3, and 10-12, while Golovkin fought his fight rounds 4-9, thats not saying that neither fighter had success when the other fighter was fighting his fight, and finally effective aggression (when you miss 70% of your punches and to top it off rely almost exclusively on the jab but you're supposed to be the power puncher how can you claim GGG won that, maybe in rounds 4-9, but really, GGG missed 70% of his punches, failed to match Canelo's clean hard punches, and was reduced to jabbing.

Canelo doesn't need to stand toe to toe with GGG, he said he needs to throw even more punches, in other words work on his conditioning, hence the reason he said he was considering training in the mountains of Colorado.

GGG was spent by the 9th round and Canelo took over in the 10th and finished the championship rounds stronger. If Canelo can replicate what he did in the first three rounds at least once in the middle rounds and again finishes stronger, he wins the fight.

So GGG didnt go to the body because Canelo is not stationary and Canelo used good defensive skills to make GGG miss his target..

So because GGG was afraid of missing the legal area of the body he decided to ignore the body.

Maybe Abel should teach GGG how to attack the body of a defensive fighter.

I recall Canelo rearranging Erislandy Lara's internal organs despite lara literally running, turning his back the whole fight, and never being stationary.

I watched the fight several times, I had it 8 rounds to 4, Paulie had it 9 rounds to 3, which I could see, Harold Lederman had it 8 rounds to 4, almost everyone had Golovkin winning the fight, even Nacho Beristain had Golovkin winning.............2 points was too close, the draw, no way, and judge Tyrd is an idiot! Oscar will own all three judges, referee, and boxing commission we all know that..................after what Hopkins said, I think they will hire Tony Weeks as ref so El Pollo can land testicle blows and Weeks will stop the fight, everyone will be cheated, but Bob Bennett thinks boxing fans a very stupid, he knows they can get away with it................

Its not just 2 guys in a ring anymore when it comes to certain fighters. Fighters and their trainers now have to consider whose side a refferee is on, you may not be winning rounds you clearly just won, hell Tyson Fury wouldnt even touch food or drink in Germany incase team Wlad had spiked it.

draw was a fair result, I'd go with that, but if anyone won, slight nod to 3G for aggression.

So Wlad and Fury both walked around with hermetically sealed lunchboxes? I wonder if he's changed his mind about the Brewster loss yet?

Except for that one could put up a decent argument as to why Golovkin won any of the last three rounds. Canelo didn't "take over". He got his second wind and rallied.

First time around I had it 7-5 to Golovkin. Second time around I noticed more of the subtle stuff that GGG was doing and had it 8-4 to GGG as well.
