Canelo "i wont fight cotto in nyc"

    I do not blame Canelo for not wanting to fight Cotto in NYC. Cotto may as well be fighting in his own backyard. Just look how they treated the rematch with Antonio Margarito. The fight was signed & the training was in full swing Suddenly the NYSAC became suspiciously concerned about Margarito's eye.
    They insisted Margarito break training & fly across the country to NYC so they could examine his eye. Why wait till he was at a crucial time in his training?? The fight had already been signed & sanctioned ???
    Then to cap it all during the fight Cotto DELIBERATELY targeted the eye lacing across it illegally several times. No warnings though. Margarito was fighting with one good eye from round 2. Cotto STILL!! could not put him away. It wasn't till Margarito staged a comeback beating his chest & Cotto started to wilt that the NYSAC doctor decided to stop the fight. It was blatant the fight was stopped to save Cotto having to QUIT AGAIN!!!!
    This was born out when the doc was interviewed he said " I stopped the fight because Margarito's eye was severely damaged he had problems from round two & couldn't see" Then realizing his faux pas he stuttered " But it was getting worse"
    Canelo has no chance of getting a level playing field in NYC any more than a Mayweather opponent has in Vegas. Boxing is corrupt

    In Texas both would get a fair fight. NYC is tantamount to San Juan Peurto Rico. Vegas is just as corrupt
