Cant blame him for this. Hes fought there for the last 4 years, getting better every fight, why come down? He says everybody will know in 2 weeks whos he fighting so we should all know soon!! says Trout rematch is not in the works

I think he said 2 weeks because hes probably gonna fight the Angulo-Lara winner. I pray its not Angulo, he'll get ripped to shreads. people say Canelo or golden boy wont fight Lara but remember that they didnt want Canelo to fight Trout and Canelo said thats the only person he want to.

so im gonna say Canelo-Lara and im not sure who Mayweather fights. who actually derserves the fight?? Alexander. nobody else is ranked higher at WW, got some good wins, only person that derserves it. dont think it will happen because Khan wants a chance at a title.

outcome? I'm still hoping Mayweather fights Canelo and just put a rehydration clause of 10 pounds in. I kow this thread is gonna get crazy. All i can say if Mayweather feels good at 147 (he actually is a true WW) then so be it. but Canelo looks like hes not bending down so if it doesnt happen by next May it wont ever happen because Canelo is only gonna get better and bigger and Mayweather is only gonna get older.

Lets see what happens!! source- News that talks fights

I think this is the best possiblity. Khan might get mad because he wont have a chance at a title but If Alexander's hand isnt hurt that bad he"ll get the fight. but the only way that works is if they LOAD THAT UNDERCARD!!! the fight will do 750k because its Mayweather but theres no way in hell it gets to a mil buys unless Canelo on the undercard. so Canelo has alot pull here

Pac failed so you use Canelo to keep your shitty Floyd quotes.

If this fight happens it should be 154.

As long as Canelo is not on the undercard for Mayweather vs Alexander all is good....

Think about it Mayweather Alexander will do far worse in terms of PPV numbers than Guerrero vs Mayweather did...

I hope Canelo sticks to his guns and refuses to support any Mayweather event unless he has a signed contract in hand and even then thats not a for sure go either.

as far as Canelo vs Angulo thats a good fight Canelo will win that fight rather easily.

Honestly I think the Lara fight is better for him, Canelo fights in spurts and that is the wrong style for Angulo, also the boy stamina is ****, I think dog stops him for this reason, Alfredo will definitely get tagged and possibly hurt but still good chance he tops Oopie...

He has a better chance with the low work rate of Lara...

I don't see who Floyd can fight other than Alvarez to bring in big PPV numbers.

I think Canelo, GBP, ShowTime, and Mayweather humself know this.

Floyd mayweather NEEDS Canelo and Canelo knows it.

Funny you say that, considering Floyd made $32.000.000 guaranteed earlier this month.

    He NEEDS Canelo, eh?

How does Floyd need Canelo, Floyd is only one of a few fighters who even fight on ppv, Canelo isn't even ppv worthy at this point being the A side, Floyd will outsell anyone in ppv, even if he doesn't get a million buys so I don't see how he needs him, Canelo NEEDS FLOYD to transition into a ppv star at this point and that's only if he wins, you guys are delusional...

He barely makes 154. If Floyd says that's too big a physical challenge, I'm perfectly okay with that, but between the two he's the one who could jump up again, Alvarez cannot possibly jump back down to 47.

After Floyd's fight with Guerrero, what moron will pay $60 again to watch Mayweather throw single punches against a guy coming up in weight who is not even a household name? YOU? Probably.

I guarantee you that around here (Los Angeles) most people that bought the Guerrero fight (MX American) will not buy another Mayweather sham.

Latinos are the biggest boxing PPV consumers, MX and MX American specifically. Without a MX on the cards and in the main even Mayweather's numbers suffer.

    Yes, yes and yes.

But Floyd is the PPV king, can nobody deny this. And he is guaranteed purses when he signs dotted lines, major purses. He is not in dire need of another fighter, if anything.. other fighters NEED him desperately to make their way in the sport.

Floyd will be alright, I would like to see him fight Canelo, but if he does not desire to fight at 154lbs anymore, then its not much to cry about is it?

There are other fights out there for Floyd.
