SHO Needs him to fight Canelo. He makes his guaranteed money off the revenue his own fights generate, but if they fail to generate and they're in the red on an event as has been widely speculated, then they're still obligated to pay him out of pocket which could ultimately hurt their boxing budget and keep fights that are actually relevant from being put on. You think that would be a good thing? People need to stop with this ***gotry boasting about Top Dog and who needs who.

I'm sure Floyd's stock has dropped. He can probably still pull good numbers, but his million+ buys days are over unless he fights a big name. :deal

Devon is not coming up in weight hes the IBF WW champ. Golden boy puts on cards not just main events. i knew a few people that didnt want to order but knew Mares and Ponce de Leon was gonna be a classic so they orderd it. its about the card not just main event

no reason for canelo to accept any conditions except for testing.

    no 147.
    no catch weight.
    no rehydration clause.

**** Floyd mayweather...a coward with skills.

Floyd needs the card to be stacked. But the VAST majority of the buyers buy the main event.

    Floyd is cornered.

Yep. the deal is signed. so how's he cornered?? If your saying that meaning he has to fight Canelo then i dont believe that either. why?? BECAUSE HES GONNA FIGHT 5 MORE TIMES!! Obvisouly hes not gonna fight Canelo 5 times so some fights are probably not gonna do a mil buy. who knows maybe they will. but whatever happens it doesnt matter because Mayweather fighting on the nextwork is the biggest thing since a Tyson fight on there. thats why they"ll pay him

I'm willing to bet my last dime Canelo will never see $32,000,000 in a fight, let alone be making that type of money well into his 30's...

Nope, and he wasn't making demands to proven draws either. He was begging for Mosley at 135, and then chased both Mosley and De La Hoya up in weight, and neither would fight him until way later. Say what you want, but Floyd worked hard to get where he is.
