Espinoza insists the trade off is worth it just to have Floyd as the face of the network's sports division. If they're looking to simply not go broke rather than be raking IN profits, he's going to he down the road without a pot to **** in before the end of the year and SHO will be manuevering to void the contract.

Nah, just some gloom n doom. Fight Canelo, 'mayne'. :-(

:thumbsup But Floyd shouldn't go back up to 154 again if this is the case. I can understand him trying it with Oscar, not doing it for a while after because he didn't feel comfortable there. Then trying again 5 years later with Cotto, seeing he was still uncomfortable there and hit more than recently, and staying at 147 for the remainder of his career. No more jumping back and forth if he's not facing Canelo though.

He would have got hit by Cotto whether it was 147 or 154. Cotto is not Robert Guerrero or Victor Ortiz. The weight wasn't an issue. He was in their with a credible opponent.

Yeah, he's pretty much the same weight in the ring on fight night whether it's sanctioned at 147 or 154. It's the same guy, against different opponents.

You guys need to stop acting like you know every damn thing. Showtime did not lose money on the Guerrero fight and is ok. They can make any fight with Floyd and will get plenty of money regardless.... They will never not make there money. You guys are fools if you think other wise. I don't care who Floyd fights I'm gonna watch.

Canelo is just ducking Floyd cause he knows he don't stand a ****in chance at 147 or 150 catchweight

I want to see Floyd fight Canelo at 154. But I would understand if he doesn't. Jumping back and forth between weight classes can't be healthy.

If he stays at 147 it's fine. If he hops up to 154 but still doesn't fight Canelo it's a duck.

He moves better at 147, even you agree with that right? You cannot determine if the weight was a factor or not, as you weren't in the ring that night. It's a reason he didn't go to 154 for 5 years after ODLH and went back to 147 immediately after facing Cotto as well..

Yes he is.. And it's up to him to state whether the opponents at 154 rehydrate too much for him to compete there, since he only puts on a little weight after the weigh in. But like I said, he can't do the back and forth thing. Either stay there and fight Canelo, or stay at 147 until he retires.

It's the gloves and the weight. Floyd didn't do any sweating down for the Cotto fight and was lethargic and bloated...and Heavyweight 10 oz gloves make a huge difference.
