I do agree this is the best fight that floyd could make now.

    I agree.

I also am not sure if he can drastically change his punch output in one training camp, if ever. I doubt he's a slouch when it comes to training.

Some people simply don't have the genes to excel further, an I think he is one of them.

Its like expecting a long distance runner who usually finishes top 10, to all of a sudden become the best in the world. Not going to happen 90% of the time.

and that's why Floyd took it.

in all likelihood before canelito looks anything but average against Molina, lara or vanes and has a very good chance of looking bad against rosado and Kirkland.

im hoping that Gabriel Rosado, as opposed to ishe smith, is going to be canelitos comeback fight after he loses to Floyd as he will be a +400-500 and will be the buy of the year.

I agree. I think Floyd will shock some people and finish him inside the distance.

To all Floyd nuthuggers..... Aren't you embarrassed in saying Floyd will KO TKO his opponent? His last legit KO was Hatton FFS. Jesus Christ take Floyd's **** out of your mouths.

Floyd ain't knocking anyone out. Can't even TKO a hapless Guerrero. Sùck your thumb.

  9. Floyd isn't knocking out anybody. Those brittle hands better hold up in this fight

Alvarez is untested, he is no better than Guerrero on paper. How many elite fighters has alvarez faced? 2 maybe

Have you not watched the ginger fight? You can disect any boxers resume, even the greatest rarely fought elite competition, but to not see the threat in Canelo just shows YDKSAB.

Floyd hasn't fought anyone with the explosive power of Alvarez. Floyd thinks that if Canelo couldn't finish Trout, Mosely or Mathew Hatton then its an easy payday, but I think he's making a mistake. Canelo dropped & outlanded Trout, but the key point is open scoring, he knew he was up on the scorecards and went for the decision. Against Mosely he self admited he didn't want to KO Mosely, whether that's true is not clear, but looking at the fight it wouldnt be unbelievable.

Fact is Canelo has beaten all his opponents of late with ease and now Floyd, the mystical god of boxing, you guys think, has to avoid getting hit with even one big shot - body or head.

That right there. You just proved your own statement wrong. Explosive power? If Canelo's power were explosive Trout wouldn't have gotten back up. Guy's who have explosive power are Jackson, Tyson, Foreman, Lyle, Shavers, Robinson, Lewis, Trinidad, etc. I've yet seen Canelo put anyone to sleep. Canelo's power ain't on that level. Don't overrate it.

I did not say he is not a good fighter I just said he has not had a lot of top level competition. Fighting Floyd is a huge step up in class of opponent and he may do well, but he has not proven himself to be at Floyd's level. Pac man is at Floyd's level, Alvarez wants to be but until sept, its just hope or hype. Take your pick?
