I love statements like this. Guys like you only heard of Canelo when this fight was announced, then ran to YouTube to see what he fights like and saw the Trout fight.

And too ya'll he doesnt look like much of a threat. Ya'll will receive the biggest shock on Sept. 14th on how well Canelo can "get with" Mayweather's ass in the ring.

Finally some good unbiased breakdown of Canelo. I agree.

And vice versa. Floyd huggers screaming Canelo doesn't fight much a round is the pot calling the kettle black. Floyd doesn't fight much a round either. This fight will be a chess match.

Dude I watch more boxing than you would believe, Just because I don't think Alvarez has had much elite competition, doesn't mean anything. He is the undisputed LMW champ but that doesn't mean he has had anywhere near the level of Mayweather. If you can't see that this fight is the highest level Alvarez has ever thought about fighting, you are the one who should watch some more and learn something. Just like floyd said "just show me 10 champs he has fought"
I will do you one even easier just show me 5. CHUMP!!!

Of course its the highest level, Floyd IS AT THE TOP!!!

Oscar De La Hoya was the highest level Floyd fought at the time, so what you saying?

I'm saying you are dreaming saying Alvarez will shock the world. He is not close to the skill level of Mayweather. he has the same chance that Guerrero did, to get lucky and get a KO.

One thing you fail to consider is his drawing power I am sure Vegas needs another star. Canelo will probably get the nod on close rounds so expect a controversial decision.

No way. I see something similar to the Cotto fight. 9-3 or 8-4 Floyd. It's gonna be a close one.

Close rounds.. against Floyd...in Vegas. :rofl

The only time that will ever happen is when Floyd sees some money in it.

I think this one ends in draw or Canelo gets a thin split decision.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzolhnBVtoY This isn't a floyd coming off a long layoff, and in this new training footage he's looking sharp+i like how they're focusing on the body as well, because the second half of the fight when canelo loses steam it will pay off.

I think that Canelo's only chance is to surprise Floyd early with that sneaky uppercut. I've never seen a fighter bring a punch like that and in that way to Floyd. However, he only has one shot and if he don't stop Floyd the first time, he won't get a second shot at it. Here's another thought, if he fights Floyd the way he fought Trout in the first round, then it might be an interesting chess match for a while. Having said that, I think that he is just too raw mentally and Floyd will break him down and possibly knock him out in the later rounds. His fight game gets real ragged after about the third round and he will just become a student being taught a hard lesson about the fight game.
