On the cards probably, in the actual fight, I doubt it.

Against canelo they just make the judging criteria up as they go.
If canelo does nothing but move and throw 10 punches a round he boxed masterfully. If canelo is coming forward but punching air and the opponent is moving you get announcers saying you cant win the fight moving backwards no matter if they Outland him 2-1.
People can be elusive and win a fight but unless your name is money, it’s not happening vs canelo.

Sulecki would be a competitive fight for canelo. The cards wouldn’t tell the tale of the fight though.

Why bother with all this ? We ALL knowall Canelo has to do is be standing at the final bell & he "wins" the decision. Danny has to KO canelo tp lose a SD

You’ve just read the odds for Jacobs (5/2) as the odds for Canelo, who’s a fairly strong favorite with the bookies (2/7).

When has Canelo ever thoroughly beaten a slick backfoot southpaw counter puncher? Much less one that's the size of a Cruiserweight and can actually hurt him? This will be one of Canelo's hardest fights to date.

Because Jacobs won't stop Canelo. I doubt he will even try to do that. He'll be fine crying robbery after the fight...

When has he ever beaten anyone who's not a cherry pick thoroughly?Floyd would have his fights won by seven rounds as he did v Canelo.
Why should Jacob's have to feel like he can't "box" his way to a decision if the knockout won't come?GGG showed that if you win easy ie more than two rounds they give Canelo a draw to save face, anything close and you've lost that s***.
I hardly watch boxing now cause of this and I'll use the same standard for Joshua and his A side bs.

I also thought Jacobs beat GGG too and I am a HUGE GGG fan.

Jacobs has to go for the kill, he is big and strong enough to stop Canelo's momentum.

If Jacobs was the undefeated champ in that fight whereas GGG was the contender, then Jacobs could have gotten the decision. But what he did as a contender was certainly not enough to beat the champ. I think the decision was fair.

Yes it will, Jacobs is a very awkward rangey fighter who can stay at range and land. Canelo will have to use his upper body and head movement skills to slip the jab and try and get inside and corner Jacobs on the ropes. Canelo may need to jab to the body a lot in this fight like he did vs Floyd, only with more force and commitment, throw the jab to the body when Jacobs is moving then turn it into a combo following it up with a straight or a right hook if Jacobs lowers his guard. Jacobs will be a big test for Canelo, it could be similar to Canelo vs Lara, only that Jacobs sometimes takes portions of the rounds off with movement trying to time his opponent. So I could see Jacobs having some success, but just not being busy enough to win enough rounds to win the bout. Coming off his conquering of GGG, Canelo knowing that judges like high work rate could lead him to victory. Really that's the big question for me, will Canelo be coming forward relentlessly by the middle rounds or will he choose to engage in a low volume chess match with Jacobs.

At the very least it was a very very close fight.

Jacobs now has 2 years of maturity and political savvy behind him to know how things are rigged. He has to take control of his own destiny from the opening bell.
