Canelo is a fool, Oscar should slap him!! Cotto tried to make the fight

Nothing finalized yet but May-Pac looks on for May 2nd! So How come Canelo couldnt wait a little longer or just not fight on May 2nd so he could've got his mega fight with Cotto!?!?!?!

I tried telling ppl but theres just to many haters out here. Cotto would never duck a fighter named Canelo, Cotto will fight anybody and everybody! Cotto is no dummy tho. he knew there has been reports of May-Pac happening May 2nd, probably even knew more then some since hes cool with TR so he wasnt gonna commit to a date where there could be another fight that will be the richest boxing has ever seen! why risk that?? just for a date? IM truly happy Cotto didnt sign because that would've messed up boxing big time!

I get it Canelo, CInco De Mayo weekend, your mexican...i get it! But come on bro, May 2nd was still 100+ days away and they acting like a fight needs to get signed soon! its a damn shame if you ask me. Cotto comes back with June 6, 13th at MSG (Which would've been great for Canelo and could've took his next step to hopeful greatness) and he got butt hurt and told Oscar too look for somebody else!

Now Oscar is truly gonna have to slap this fool and tell him they either gotta go April 18, or May 16 (April 25 if Wald fight on HBO, May 9th is GGG fight on HBO) or somehow some way...fight on May 2nd and kinda hurt the sport if you ask me. almost everybody in the world will watch May-Pac (expect for biggest biggest Canelo fans) and nobody will watch Canelo-Kirkland live unless tickets are free or $25 and even that is a strecth.

Oscar gonna have to slap some sense into that kid! Im one of Canelo's biggest fans but he dropped the ball big time on this one....just cause a date AND ITS GONNA MOVE ANYWAYS!!! DUMMY!!

Hopefully he leanrs from this and goes for Cotto later this year (or GGG, whatever works for me) but if he thinks hes gonna go up to Cotto again and say Sept (mexican Independce weekend) when he knows damn well May-Pac 2 happening then Cotto will laugh and say grow up.

Theres growing pains and hopefully Canelo learns. Kirkland is a good fight but he had the chance to be MW King of the world and whos to say Kirkland dont win and his career does a serious 180 just like that because he was being a diva over a date. time will tell.

P.S. yes this is based on May-Pac actually happening May 2nd, maybe it doesnt and this thread totally sucks and doesnt matter. we shall see :bbb:bbb

Canelo-Kirkland is not a better fight! That might go 4 rounds max. doesnt mean it cant be good but a chance for MW King and his for lineal title to Kirkland which is a good fighter but come on bro
