    Couldn't they have Canelo on the under card? Or the HBO under card at a different arena.

    Even if he doesn't get a flight with Void in May, he'll still be angling for one in September, which means he'll be taking a soft touch in the meantime. And he'll be fighting a welterweight next (possibly Bradley, but probably Rios.)

    Cotto never had any intention of fighting Alvarez. Say what you want about the overhyped ginger, he'd still walk through Cotto - and what does the reluctant diva do then? Where does he go? Answer: nowhere.

    Canelo will get his due and fade into oblivion when he has to fight at his natural weight. He's another Donaire, who picks on smaller guys.

    He fights at Jr MW and he's trying to fight a MW titlist. He just beat 3 of the top JR.MW. Tell me how he's another Donaire who towered over his opponents?

    Cotto has a massive superiority complex, no doubt brought on by the realisation that he was never the great talent Top Rank hoped/promoted him to be.

    Canelo-Kirkland date/venue isnt finalized even though the fact they will fight is.

    Oscar and Canelo have always maintained that if May-PAC is made, they will move off the May 2 date.

    Trying to maintain that not making the fight is Canelo's fault and he should have waited for all eternity until Cotto's diva meter was full makes zero sense. Cotto not signing had nothing to do with May 2nd.

    None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. It doesnt hold water. HBO (who would be involved in Floyd-PAC ) wouldnt go head to head with a PAC event, Floyd-PAC has always been a caveat for Canelo getting May 2. Even going back to Canelo signing with HBO, it was aired as a caveat.

    Cotto might be content to fight once every year or two, but a younger guy like Canelo isnt about to wait for all eternity to continue his career.

    No idea who the third top guy you refer to is

    hmmm they could do a split site but Showtime probably wont agree to that unless they getting some fat change. Plus oscar is gonna put on a fat undercard which wouldnt be shown, that anit happening

    yes , he is an idiot. its been proven time and time again that the way to become a ppv superstar is to beat a top ppv guy in impresive fashion. cotto was/is the fight that oppens the doors for canelo to big money status but he thinks he is bigger than he is and acts like he was p4p top five. now he has to settle for regular hbo. best thing that can happen is kirkland beating him to his senses

    First off what wait forever when the fight was still so called schduled over a 100 days away??

    2nd whats Cotto's divas way?? trying not ro ruin boxing with 2 mega fights on one night?? if thats the diva you talking about then im happy the fight is not happening.

    3rd already waiting till May 2nd is forever!!! Now that May-Pac is gonna happen May 2nd hes GONNA HAVE TO WAIT TILL LATER!!! meaning he should've fought Cotto as MSG on June 6 or 13 for his first Lineal title of his career against one of the best Puerto Rican fighters of all time at Historic MSG!!! Doesnt that sound good to you??

    canelo's only 24 so he will learn but he messed up and i know oscar is hella ****ed because canelo is gonna have to fight April 18th (or earlier but he sure was a diva about May 2nd) or fight May 16th or Later ( and what do you know, June 6 or 13th is right around the corner from that) Crazy world isnt it :good
