He doesn't look devastating because he's not a bruiser, he's a grandmaster chess player with no punching power, and thats okay. He doesn't need power to exist on a technically higher dimension to Canelo

Dmitry Bivol took Canelo to school He kicked his butt. He made Canelo look like a journeyman. Yes Ginger got exposed for what he is A Diva without his hired help he's just a palooka. Stick a fork in him he's done

    It was too obvious

    Canelo looked clueless in there

That fight marked his decline and loss of confidence and since then he went back to his "smoke and mirrors" routine.

Lucky for him he has such a loyal fan base that are willing to pay for his PPVs. It actually reminds me of Mike Tyson; even when he was KOd by Douglas and humiliated by Holyfield his fans still kept him as a PPV star

The funny thing is I actually agreed with your assessment of Bivol as a fighter, but unlike you, I knew that was actually all he needed to box Canelo's ears off.

So? All people may make mistakes. I was wrong about Bivol vs Canelo. But I believe I'm right about Canelo vs Benavidez.

Well Tyson was a still a ko artist so at the very least, you had that factor to sell not to mention his unique personality. You don't really get either with CA.

David Benavidez will be the first person to stop Canelo Alvarez.

When is Canelo going to actually say that, rather than just his fan boys? He will be asked about Benavidez during the interviews he will be doing soon, So we can expect him to confirm the Benavidez fight? Or will he keep it a big secret for no reason?

These are professional boxers, they fight for max revenue. He will choose his path which will maximize his profit. Only few years left for his retirement.
