The best fighter Mayweather ever beat was a prime Jose Luis Castillo, and I'm one of the few around here that rooted for Castillo that night that scored it 7-5 Mayweather. I'd rank a prime Castillo as a B+ fighter, does'nt rank with the ATG's but would compete with many of them.

The Pacquiao fight was garbage! Outdated with Pacquiao a little over 2 years earlier been brutally put to sleep by Marquez. Though Pacquiao has put on some good performances since, he's nowhere near the level of pre KTFO6, and still against a diminished and possibly injured Pacquiao, Mayweather fought a John Ruiz type clutch and hold type fight.
The Pacquiao fight was the sloppiest fight I've ever seen Mayweather in, compare the Mayweather Pacquiao fight to any of the Pacquiao-Marquez fights and see the difference in pure inadulterated performances Pacquiao and Marquez exhibited compared to the foul infested wrestling match that Mayweather delivered in his so called victory over Pacquiao.
That was'nt Mayweather's best fight, the fight was garbage plain and simple.

The DLH and Mosley were fighters at the very tail end of their careers that Mayweather fought. Those were no longer elite fighters and yet many had DLH beating Mayweather, I myself who has never been a DLH fan and did'nt have a rooting interest in that fight scored it a draw.

I'm saying it right now, Canelo is only a solid win or two away from surpassing the likes of Mayweather who I certainly dont rank alongside the likes of Chavez, Duran, Leonard, etc.........

Pimp C you are the voice of reason once again! I look forward to Canelo and Spence fighting in a super fight in the future as 2 excellent students of Professor Floyd Mayweather Jr. The great boxing nation of Mexico thanks Floyd for the expert tuition he gave Canelo to improve him.

Currently Canelo is the KING. He might have shady tactics but in the books he is a monster.

Some of his path to get here has been manipulated and taking easy belts. Can’t blame him for taking out Krusher at 175 as that was a big risk for a guy who was never a “True MW”:dunno

For a while now I've grown some sort of animosity but begrudging respect towards Canelo while also acknowledging his skills despite some questionable wins and controversy. I'm now at a point that I've finally come to accept Canelo's standing as the best P4P fighter. He always comes into the ring to fight and give people excitement. He is the complete and total package in terms of overall skills and abilities.

Thanks! Would love to see it but canelo would be the clear favorite and I'd pick him in that match up.

A lot of people would and understandably so though I am certainly not ruling out my boy Spence especially at 160 pounds.

Not that I have noticed! They cross the border from Mexico to watch his fights in the US. I know because I have been there and mingled with his crowd. God bless Mexico.

Not as impressive as you make it sound.

135: First fight with JLC should have been scored a draw.
140: Hatton later fought him at 147lbs, a weight that Hatton never really impressed at.
147: Pac had an injured shoulder and Mayweather cheated as you well know. Mosley was past his prime.
154: ODLH was overrated and Floyd barely beat him. Cotto was past his best.

It wasn't clear though, was it.

It could just have easily been scored to GGG or a draw.
