Canelo is done

Canelo's gameplan was left hooks to the body which he didn't even fully commit to and a looping right hand.

Nothing else. Not a single jab. Nothing. Pathetic.

 

This is no Bivol 2. Bivol actually gave an enjoyable ass whooping. This was a snoozefest

 

We could see from his last 4 fights that he is done.

Homecoming in Mexico and then call it a day

 

Canelo is great for the sport , he was man enough to risk all the belts for a great boxing night instead of sitting on them .

Respect for him

 

Canelo should retire. The Mexican fans will still pay for him. Canelo can still beat Berlanga caliber fighters.

 

Canelo is an elite fighter who was always extremely popular and somewhat overrated. I have respect for him but thank God he was not gifted a draw (or even worse a win) tonight.

 

Those punches were enough for Charlo. Too bad Bud isn't Charlo lol

he can still go on a Chavez like retirement tour & rake in another quarter of a billion dollars crushing Tecate Cans. Though.

 

He's no longer a P4P level guy. And he was never on the level of a Crawford or an Usyk. A great fighter, but a clear class below the true all-timers.

 

If usyk would be on canelos level he would bring the belts to the ring like canelo did tonight , give parker and kabayel his shot and the boxing sport a great event .

 

Nah .i'm not giving him that one. He fought a welterweight. Don't care how good he is. That's not a big risk. If you are truly great, you crush him.
