Many refused to listen when I predicted the one sided beating Fury would give Wlad, lets hope these people don't make the same mistake again and ignore the analysis of an elite boxing mind.

Cement feet Saul will plod around the ring for 12 rounds looking frustrated while Khan stays disciplined on the outside keeping a high guard and peppering him with straight punches. Canelo won't be able to cut the ring off against Khan and is gonna find it very difficult to get his punches and combinations off.

For those that think Canelo will KO Khan: :nono. Canelos power is a myth. Couldn't even hurt welterweight Matt Hatton, took 12 rounds to stop a shot, fragile Ryan Rhodes, landed about a thousand flush power shots on Angulos chin but needed a British stoppage etc Maidana hits harder than ginger and Khan sucked up his best shots, he also cuts the ring off far better... compare his showing against Floyd to Canelos, its night and day. If Maidana couldn't stop Khan its very unlikely Canelo does.

The size difference here is irrelevant, Khan is just too mobile, too fast and has too much workrate for Canelo and his lousy gastank to deal with. If the judges give Khan a fair shake it will be a one sided decision win, 10-2 or 9-3.

And the new MW champion of the world... :deal

Khan is A LOT faster than Canelo and he has the advantage in ring generalship too with much better movement.

Khan needs to fight a very disciplined fight to beat Canelo. He can't be caught in between his offence and take a big counter punch that he fails to see.
But, wouldn't it be amazing if some how Khan found a way to win.

K2 would immediately file for the WBC to order Khan to fight Golovkin ASAP, or strip the title from Khan. They know very well that Khan's next step would be to use the title to lure Floyd Mayweather into a title fight, locking Golovkin out again.

Khan plants his feet and throws combinations.

As hilarious as it would be for Khan to be the Middleweight champion, it's not going to happen. Khan can't fight a perfectly disciplined fight against an elite opponent.

He has the (admirable) tendency to stand and fight when he gets hit. He also can't fight on the inside. At all. He simply puts his hands up and waits for his opponent to stop throwing. He's also susceptible to the left-hook.

To win this, Amir would have to go 12 rounds without Canelo landing a flush shot to his chin. That's not going to happen.

I'll be surprised if Khan makes it past 5 rounds. He might look good for a round or two because it takes most fighters a while to adjust to his (remarkable) speed. As soon as Canelo lands though, it's over.

Total exaggeration and over representation of Canelo.
Alvarez has never been a one punch KO artist and Khan's chin isn't as weak as you portray.
Under Hunter Khan is to the boxer he used to be.
With so much at stake I can't see Khan giving up and instead see him listening to his corner.

Canelo doesn't have to be a one-punch ko artist. A shot, blown-up Diaz rocked Khan. Someone with the size advantage and respectable power of Canelo will rock Khan with the first flush shot he lands.

Khan may be refined under a new trainer but, as soon as he gets hit, he reverts to the guy he has always been. You can't change a fighters natural reaction to getting hit. He'll always either put his arms up and wait for his opponent to stop throwing, or fight back. Either one will be disastrous here.

It's not a case of him listening to his corner - a fighters real character always comes out when they get hurt. No amount of training can change that natural instinct.

I don't rate Canelo particularly highly (I think GGG would wash him) but he'll stop Khan. Believe that.

Doubt it. Yeah he moves around, but in quite a wasteful manner. He doesn't get out quick enough and has zero inside game. Maybe Hunter can help with that. Canelo will walk him down and time him.
That said, he's a different fighter these days, less reckless. I've not looked at the odds yet. If they're real long I'd take it.

The very existence of this thread should officially prohibit you from calling anyone on this forum stupid for their opinion ever again.

I'll believe it when I see, but right now I'm of the opinion that Khan may very well surprise everyone and put on the performance of his life.
I can see Khan maybe getting sloppy at times, getting knocked down and getting up to win the round.

I don't doubt that in the rounds that Canelo doesn't succeed in hurting Khan, Khan may win those rounds on speed and activity outworking Canelo as Alvarez throws bombs trying to find Khan's chin.

Lara won that fight with Canelo and if he had move just a little less, and threw a few more combinations he would have won the fight decisively.
Canelo has problems with fighters with movement and fighters with fast hands. Khan has very good movement and the fastest hands in the division.

Khan can do the same, if he sticks to the game plan.

Oh wow, more people confusing speed with defense and good footwork.

Khan is a come forward fighter who doesn't know how to do anything else. He stays in the pocket way too long and has terrible defense. He's literally tailor made for Canelo's style.

Canelo has average power at 154. Khan is a bloated 140 with a shaky chin that hasn't even had a fight against a WW before. He's done.

 True. Lara only managed to land 120+ head shots to Canelo's 20+.
It was an obvious one-sided blow out.
