Canelo is going to **** GGG up

Golovkin is gonna batter him canelo waited 2 years but that wont be enough Canelo has never fought anyone who can punch close to how GGG can punch.

Somebody is super excited about this fight!

 

Power is great and all but you have to land it without getting countered.

 

Not necessarily saying Canelo KO GGG, but Chavez has an iron chin as does GGG, and Chavez also fought extremely defensive moving back all night, and fighting off the back foot. Very hard to KO fighters that fight that way.

 

Canelo is the best counter puncher at the present moment. If anyone is getting countered its Golovkin.

Golovkin's best chance is to fight him the way he fought Brook.

 

just go to war with Canelo and try to take him out? Sounds like a good plan B if Canelo can successfully counter the jab.

 

Canelo is no Lemieux. Slipping the jab shouldn't be too much trouble for Canelo if you consider his style.

For one, I don't see Canelo putting pressure or moving forward the way Lemieux was doing. I see him using his counter puncher style where he takes subtle steps back making his opponents reach, or even leaning against the rope and countering after blocking or parrying. Canelo is more explosive and faster than Golovkin.

Secondly, Canelo is multi dimensional, so Golovkin will likely have to go to a plan B if he's plan is to outbox the boxer.

 

Fonfara stopped Chavez...and Canelo could not stop a shot Weight drained Chavez....bit of a worry in my opinion...
