well when you wanna outbox someone it matters...the point was a very skilled huge 6ft1 fighter with better power and better legs than canelo couldnt outbox ggg so how the hell canelo does it...his best chance is a brawl IMO since canelo i very tough
I still favour GGG in this one. Canelo is a decent counterpuncher but unless he catches GGG with something big in the first few rounds and cracks what has so far looked to be a pretty good chin I just can't see him being active enough. Canelo likes to fight a fairly methodical slowish paced fight and rarely throws if he doesn't think he will land. GGG will be on him stalking into range every minute of every round and I don't think Canelos stamina is great. My pick is GGG to wear him down to for a late (t)ko or UD. Unless there is some CJ Ross style scorecards in Canelos favour
How skilled are you when your getting KTFO, andn when you're getting decked by a JrMW who is past his prime, and has no power? As skilled as Jacobs is, he isn't an elite fighter imo.
I see Canelo beating GGG as well but I don't think he will dominate him. GGG has a good jab good power and can cut the ring off. He will give Canelo a stiff test for sure.
I'd take Jacobs over Trout and Cotto H2H, but would probably give the edge to Lara over him. But I should remind you, that you're trying to have a discussion with a fanboy who kept going on about Liam Smith being better than anyone GGG fought, so It's probably a waste of time.
If they were the same size, maybe, yes. But Jacobs is HUGE on fight night. a fanboy who kept going on about Liam Smith being better than anyone GGG fought Give me strength. OK, well, that made my evening. Thanks for pointing out where he's coming from. It's late here and I'm hitting the sack.
Are you just stirring the pot or was thst really said. Also maybe it was said sarcastically and your sarcasm meter was acting up? If not, well damn.
No, he really made that claim with his previous account. Over and over again, and even threw insults at people for ridicuoling it.
Fonafara is a Light HEAVYWEIGHT, Canelo's last fight was at Super WELTERWEIGHT. Just food for thought.
Lol, ok then. My 2 cents. This is going to be a great fight. I think GGG will win but it won't be a cake walk. I think his movement , jab and power will be the telling factors. If this goes to the cards thst can be a cause for concern but I think he can get him out of there with the right game plan by round 8 or so.
