Nope, GGG is going to be in seek and destroy mode from the opening bell, he laid the blueprint against Murata, and Canelo coming off of his loss against Bivol, his confidence won't be all that high, so that and GGG's in his head, which will cause him to act impulsively and make mistakes. GGG stops him in 9.
No, I like GGG a lot and obviously know he won both fights, but I also think he’s getting stopped. G looked slower and more vulnerable in the Murata fight. Canelo loss but he’s still prime and is crazy strong at 168
The outcome of GGG winning may be slim but I don't see him getting stopped....its GGG! Can you imagine GGG getting stopped? It would haunt me to see him go down. He is going out gun's blazing!
I'll be cheering for GGG but think he's too far gone. He has lost his legs, so anytime he gets something going Canelo can just evade him. In his prime GGG was great at cutting off the ring and applying pressure, but he has lost that ability and needs someone to stand in front of him and trade. Canelo will not oblige him and will use his fresher legs to win a wide decision.
This is a more accurate depiction of how the fight may go. Canelo will use his legs to a decision win unless he gets hot headed and starts trading with Golovkin.
I don’t think he is actually motivated for this fight. This is a fight Canelo didn’t want but had to do to guaranteed money contract. I actually see a more cautious Canelo who will just use his feet to beat a now much slower GGG. Why would he risk a potential KO lose to GGG. Unless GGG scores a KO he’s got this on the card.
The first two fights were pretty good but GGG isn’t the same fighter these days. That said, he’s a prideful guy and still has enough gas in the tank and a granite chin to grind this one out. He may surprise a few people by landing some big shots on Canelo but I don’t think he has enough to knock him out or put point Canelo this time. Two warriors meeting in the ring, the younger guy has too many advantages this time. Canelo probably wins a UD or by ref stoppage late but I don’t see GGG ever giving up. He’s a tough dude.
I don't know if Alvarez knocks him out, as in a ten count, but he will stop Golovkin sometime in the first half of the fight. Triple G really struggled with Murata's shots to the body and with his less than special hand speed. Once Canelo finds out Golovkin isn't up to the challenge he will go into attack mode and end it quickly. All of that being said, I really hope I'm wrong.
GGG should sit back and counter. He has no obligation to make this fight exciting. He's seen the judges and knows what happens if he doesn't KO Canelo.
GGG has more left in the tank than Angulo did. I think its going to be another tough fight but Canelo will win more convincingly this time around. A late round stoppage is possible though.
