If you really think floyd is going to Fight Canelo the way he fought Cotto then you are fooling yourself.
Floyd is a excellent problem solver in the ring. He finds ways to break into his opponents timing, defense and offense this fight will be no different.

I doubt Floyd will stay right in front of a bigger man and try to beat him with sheer strength and speed that would be stupid, he would lose to many fighter bigger then himself with that mindset.

Second Mosely has already warned Canelo that if he goes into the mindset Im bigger then floyd I will just out muscle him . "He will be in for a surprise because Floyd is a lot stronger then he appears he just uses he strength differently.

This over exaggeration of how good Ortiz was doing should be demoted by the fact that Ortiz gave Mayweather a leaping headbutt followed by a hug and a kiss.

Mayweather was the one timing Ortiz and was already busting him up by the fourth. Mayweather while not as sharp as he should have been was coming off of a 16 month lay off, and he did pretty good for that. Anytime Floyd gets hit he was apparently almost lost or almost got knocked out.

No. What? :rofl The most bothersome thing Ortiz was doing was attempted headbutting.

Maybe not, but what is he going to do box with the boxer, I don't think he is good enough to pull that off but we shall see.

...and Mayweather will not counter him?

I agree with this, Canelo is an incredible body puncher. Mayweather will definitely not stay against the ropes will Canelo. I don't think he has plans on doing that.

try to box...using the Ortiz fight as a point of reference when Ortiz is a completely different fighter, and a southpaw...next.

Floyd can beat him on the inside.

What is wrong with getting on his "bike" or rather boxing him, if it wins him the fight?

See Mayweather vs Guerrero. Will Canelo suddenly become a high output fighter? Has he shown that he doesn't have the legs? No one started saying that until Freddy Roach started saying it. You can pray about it though...

So Canelo will land some punches, hmm, what a concept...how will this effect Floyd's psyche though. Is he going to use some Mortal Kombat moves or something?

Cotto gets unfairly underrated after his last two fights. I see this as a very good fight, and Mayweather might get touched more in this fight, but I doubt it.

    Floyd doesn't underestimate his opponents.

Sounds like you really want to lay down some money on this fight. If writing an article about it makes you feel more confident then good for you.

    Good luck

Void can't lose a fight in Vegas, period. I might buy that fight on PPV, but only to see Matthysse Vs. Garcia..............

How can a person cry about a fight that hasn't happened? Fact is, that Matthysse Vs. Garcia will be a much better fight than Void/Alvarez which I suspect could be prefabricated?

There are several other posts out there about the same. Everyone knows it..............If you don't like it, don't read it. In a Democracy, you can have your own opinions, if you don't like a Democracy, I suggest you move to a dictatorship..............in the meantime I will say what I want............If you believe that boxing is on the level, you are ignorant. Take a look at boxing's past, from the very beginning. Take a look at some of the decisions, disgraceful! Tonight I saw a decision that was fair, finally..............but even that can appear to be biased as well, which is the reason I like knockouts. I would like to see boxing go back to 15 rounds, that would help.............

If Mayweather fights like he did against Cotto I think he will get stopped. That was a very close fight in my eyes and I think Mayweather was a bit flat footed by his standads.

Problem I have with Canelo is that he can fight very flat footed himself for the elitelevel and if Mayweather gets on his bike Canelo will struggle to pin him down. I wouldn't be the least bit surprise if Canelo scores a knock out though, because I think he is going to get through with a huge shot here and there.

I agree with what you're saying and I have concerns too.

With that much money on the table it isn't hard to fix a fight.

May isn't going to be on the ropes, Canelo is too strong for May to let that happen too often. Also, Canelo doesn't cut the ring off well enough to keep May on the ropes to do any real damage. In the center of the ring, May boxes circles around him with foot work, good defense and counter punching. I see Canelo getting frustrated by the 5-6 round. If and when that happens May will separate himself and win by wide UD.
