Canelo is just a prospect, no way he is ready for Mayweather.

In mexico, they still consider him a prospect. He also didn't have much of an amateur career. Only around 20 fights. Everyone in Mexico isn't fooled by his belt. They still talk about him as if he has much to learn.

I look at Canelo as a kid, Donaire is 30 and he fought two guys who were preparing to retire but he is the fighter of the year? Canelo wanted to fight Cotto, Williams and Ortiz it's not his fault what happened to those guys. Broner and Thurman are older than Canelo and we call them young prospects still.

True but if your opponent is paralyzed and you go to two fights and the guy you want to fight loses that is bad luck, Canelo could have fought Cotto and Mayweather, Canelo isn't hiding.

 

Agreed Lance, it's frustrating that people are shitting on Robert (a guy who's done it the right way), as a way to **** on Floyd. Robert is a ****ing problem for anybody 147 and below, and has EARNED his place.
