    Everyones a propect until they step up. Canelo can decide himself if he wants to take the fight with Mayweather assuming he gets past Trout and the fight can gets made.

    The winner of Trout v Alverez is set up nicely to step up imo.

    I agree but Canelo has been a pro since 2005 and its now 2013 and he is finally fighting a TOP guy...whoopty dooo:happy

    Yes its a prospect when you have been in the ring 8 years and you are finally fighting a legitimate fighter in your weight class...talk about a ****ing learning curve:lol:

    So if he beats Trout and Mayweather fights someone like Alexander. What will be your excuse be then?

    Do you realise a 16 year old Canelo beat current lightweight champion, Vazquez, twice?
