Jr and Sergio dont fight in his weight class. Hell yeah Mayweather beats him. Now trout will not beat Canelo

 

Guy is still young and learning. I rather see him mature and do great later than ruining his career like Fernando Vargas for having more bravado than rounds.

it's beyond pathetic now.....if he has belt he needs to fight better fighters, othherwise he shouldn't have it. they gave him the belt in the most bogus way a champion has ever been crowned.....by beating a journeyman who wasn't even top 20 in the division below who has never fought, let alone won, at the weight class!!


I like Canelo but he's being beyond babied right now, it's pathetic and there's no excuse for shot Mosley followed by shot Mayorga when there's literally 10+ guys that would have been far better and still winnable. Canelos very good but this is not helping his development, figthing cans gets you in a bad mentality and usually spells disaster if you take too long to step up. They better move soon like next fight soon!

Canelo is about 16 years old or something. No need to throw him to the wolves like Fernando Vargas was at that age and ruined at an early age.

 

A Mayorga fight right now makes sense on short notice. It's a marketable fight to anyone not on ESB and will build Alvarez's brand. Honestly it's a much better fight for Alvarez than Ortiz would've been. Mayorga may push him hard for a the first half of the fight like he did Cotto. It's been a long while since we've seen Alvarez get angry during a fight.

After this though they might make the Cotto fight for December and possibly the Mayweather fight for next May. No since risking those two whopping paydays on Trout or Lara. Even Bundrage's IBF title is less marketable than a Mayorga fight.
